🤣🤣 I think that would be way more fun to get the guys together. I just see who can hit a hole-in-one first time playing 18 holes on the simulator.

I’ve played thousands of rounds of golf without one. I’m convinced it’ll never happen. Couple years ago I hit my tee shot on a 130 yard hole, thought for sure it was going in. Landed a foot right of the hole and my ball was 6 inches left of the hole, the ball mark and the ball in a perfectly straight line. On a flat green. Impossible. Cursed. I’ll never get one :(

Yeah, but you’re only taking one shot in a round. I’m just saying what if you got unlimited balls in time. How long do you think it would take you?

Got one last summer. It went right through the windmill, down the tunnel and popped out the other side - hole in 1. :first:

This is a big difference.  I did a charity thing where you hit a bunch of balls at a green from about 125 yds.  After about 10 I got grooved in and was peppering the green.  I probably hit 50 total and had a handful stop within 10 feet.  I was playing to about a 16 at the time.  At that point any one could have gone in, but so much has to go right it is difficult to predict.

Who knows.  Im a decent golfer.  Ive played since I was young.   I don't have one.  Meanwhile watched this old man on a member guest playoff hole at my club hit a driver in thr hole ffom 160 and win thr tournament.   He must have been almost 90.

It is easier to hit same shot over and over for sure, can get into a groove.

Ill just say id assume id beat 2636 or whatever.

I’m an average golfer I don’t know I’m guessing within 500?

I don't think I'd ever get one, regardless of how many chances I'm given.

If I’m playing a 80 yard hole like he is I could prolly do it in less than a thousand. It’s a lot of luck though, you could do it in swing 10 or it might take you 5,000 swings :dunno:

Me also. I played a course in Gulf Shores, Alabama, Penisula. 206 yard par three from the tips. Hit my Billy Baroo (4 wood V Steel TM) three inches directly in front of the hole that sloped front to back. So close but so far away. My first thought was Wow. Then had a few Kewrs lite and all I could think about was, why didn’t the green’s keeper not choose that spot inches away.

Then a month later I’m playing with a thirty handicap on the north course at City Park. He tees it up, hits a beat up Crapflight off the cart path , into the wall of the bathroom, it ricocheted onto the green, and into the hole. I was fawking speechless.

Same. This summer, 140 up hill.  Perfect stroke and I was calling it as it was in the air. Mark was exactly 12 inches in front of the hole and ball was 6 inches directly behind the hole.  No idea how it didnt go in.

September 2022.  111 yards.   Hit a 56 degree wedge.  One hop, little roll, right in the cup.  With witnesses.  It was awesome

The paper used to publish holes in one.  Used to love reading some of the descriptions.

Joe, 75 years old.   110 yards, with a 6 iron   LOL

I know a few who have at least one. If you do achieve it, send it with your signature and the score card signed by the witnesses and the company maker of the ball will send you a plaque with a pedestal to put the ball on and a dozen balls of the one you used. It’s the gopher etiquette
