I can tell you right now that you’ll have your idiots that say, yes it absolutely was, even though there is zero evidence, because that’s what Trump told them, and they’ll believe anything he says, no matter how ridiculous.

Then you’ll have your righties that won’t quite say it was fully “stolen,” though they won’t deny it either, but they’ll suggest that Biden didn’t win by quite as much as the official numbers say, because they just can’t help undermining democracy, even though they know they must at least recognize reality to some tiny extent.

Then you’ll have the sane people that say well there were tons of recounts in nearly every state and Trump lost 60+ court challenges because he had no evidence whatsoever, period, so no, it was not stolen, and to say otherwise is to try to destroy democracy. Sadly this is only like 60% of the general public, at best, and about 20% of the Geek Club

Many of the PA Republicans who challenged mail in voting had previously voted for Act 77 (no excuse mail in voting). The state Supreme Court shot their challenge down because they waited until it was clear Trump lost to challenge the count, a year after Act 77 passed. The US Supreme Court refused to hear the case.

They were for mail in voting before they were against it.

Trump did some things I liked, and a lot of things I despised, but this was the absolute worst. Convincing Americans and much of the world that U.S. elections are illegitimate. Drive through some red-neck towns and you'll still see "Trump Won" flags still flying. Putin absolutely loves it... Russian elections are of course totally rigged and Russians know it, but this makes it more palatable to them. It implies "see, democracy doesn't work. They're equally as corrupt."

I used to say Obama was the worst President I ever had in my lifetime, but Trump has taken over that position - and I voted for that piece of garbage. I can admit when I'm wrong. Way wrong.

I really wonder about these polls which suggest that a strong majority of Republicans believe the election was stolen. Here’s the thing: I know a LOT of Republicans, including many Trump supporters. I’ve asked this question and never met anyone who thought the election was stolen. Even in this forum, mostly filled with conservatives, only a small handful of you ever assert the election was stolen and in most instances I suspect trolling. 

So why do the polls show these numbers? One possibility is that my impressions above are all anecdotal and that the folks I know and encounter directly aren’t representative of the real numbers. That’s always something to consider. 
 

My suspicion however is that the opinion that the election was stolen is not honestly felt, but rather an expression of defiance in the way that all support for Trump is an expression of defiance: once again Republicans are effectively saying we believe this because f the liberals.

I only know what I saw and Trump was in the lead by a good bit the night of and then the machines got shut down and never did that before. I wake 4 hours later and Biden is winning big. As for PA. there was a Trump rally about 40 miles near me before the election and a couple 100,000 people at it. Biden has one a month later in the same area and under 10 people at it and around 5 actually. Something odd going on. So why I xoted yes.

Democrats 2016:  Election was somehow stolen because a few thousand people exposed to some Facebook ads generated by Russian bots.   Trump face impeachment without any actual involvement.

 

Democrats 2020:  massive media blackout and social media censorship surrounding the Hunter Biden laptop story with massive coordination and involvement of federal agencies the month prior to the election, most certainly altering the election outcome.  President, FBI, and others officials openly lie to the public and claim it was a Russian plant.  Nothing to see here.

Why can't you just accept all the conservative judges' ruling on $500 million worth of frivolous Clownzo legal challenges?
