Haley is more a Bush/Cheney/Ryan/McConnell Republican. She won't be the nominee but if she were, I'd give Robert Kennedy a closer look.

They suck but still better any candidate the Ds have rolled out. Hindsight 20/20 you should be able to admit Bush was the better choice than Gore. It'll be a good day when the last Kennedy dies.

Huge red X here.

Bush for Iraq fiasco alone was a disaster. Gore would not have gone in there.

Ugh.

But true enough.

Yeah. I'd never thought I'd see the day but I'd be more inclined to vote for Bush over Gore in 2024. I don't pay attention to the man, but there's a good chance he joined all the other Democrats down the sh*thole that has become the modern Democratic Party.

Borrowing money to get US servicemembers pointlessly killed overseas policing an Islamic where nobody wants us is less odorous than woke. you can bury your dead and move on. Woke is civilizational cancer. It's basically turning your back on every single thing good your ancestors believed in, built, and died for, blowing kisses to everybody that hates them, then drowning yourself in a huge vat of sh*t.

Oh absolutely, women are terrible leaders, managers, and basically any other position of power. At least in any performance based position.  What is 2024 the year we pretend sh!t isn't true that is true or something?

2024 is well after most of us agreed that misogyny is a bad thing.

But I do know you right wing incels are still fighting it :bandana:

I don't think you know what the term misogyny means.

Bush attacked the wrong country and got us involved in a 20 year war in the ME for his daddy’s approval. I’d say that takes the cake over pronoun usage.

For least damage to the country right now I’d vote RFk/Biden/Haley

my worst case scenario is Haley getting the R nomination

Polls are crap.  Vivek is going to shock.  Desantis will be out after Iowa, he’s nowhere near the candidate we thought he’d be.

The fat old orange pedophile lover gets it:

Des Moines, IowaCNN —

The storied history of the Iowa caucuses has never seen anything like this.

A fateful election year likely to put the country’s institutions to an extreme test opens Monday as the first-in-the-nation state shivers under a blast of perishing polar weather.

But it’s not stopping Donald Trump from telling his voters to go out and caucus even if they’re “sick as a dog” – “Even if you vote and then pass away, it’s worth it,” he said Sunday, darkly suggesting people who were critically ill should get out to caucus – while urging them to punish enemies he branded “cheaters” and “liars.” The former president, who left office in disgrace in January 2021, is seeking a bumper win to set him on the road to a third straight GOP nomination — and a possible return to the White House.

CNN cannot grasp how infinitely better Trump was at presidenting, let alone his facetious humor.

Take care Iowa. Across the country, take care Bills fans as well.

Most of Haley’s support comes from independents. So even if she does well in Iowa or New Hampshire, even if somehow she wins New Hampshire, it’s impossible to see how she goes anywhere from there. Most of the other states, starting with South Carolina, only allow registered Republicans to vote. And they’re heavily for Trump.

The media wants a contest, because they want ratings (always their primary motivation.) But it really isn’t one. Trump will be the nominee, that’s it.

You are probably correct but I think you’ve got a blind spot as well. Imagine it quickly becomes a two person race. Hayley has momentum from a strong second place finish in Iowa (if that happens), then wins New Hampshire, then it’s on to her home state South Carolina where suddenly she’s neck and neck with Trump.

Not saying it will happen, but there’s a chance.

Hell in 2016 Biden’s campaign was DOA until South Carolina. Of course that’s different since there was not a heavy favorite in the field, but still, things can change on a dime.

This is very different. Haley may be from South Carolina, but she is far less popular there than Trump.

This is mostly right, although there is something significant and relevant about South Carolina that could help Nikki Haley greatly that you are totally missing.

The Iowa voters who are willing to brave this weather in order to support our democratic system are heroes to me, regardless of who they vote for. I wish them all well and admire them.

The Bills fans can kiss my ass.

Trump is the nominee. At this point that’s inevitable IMO.

I don’t agree with @RaiderHaters Revenge’s POV but he represents a whole lot of Americans, particularly conservatives. The Neocon wing of the GOP, where Haley really belongs, is dying or dead. It’s a far more isolationist, nativist party, much more similar to the pre-World War II Republicans. I hate it but it would be stupid to deny it.

Americans are sick and tired of the internationalism that has defined us since the end of World War II. We want to be left alone and the rest of the planet can go hang. There is plenty of good reason for people to feel this way, though personally I think it’s very short sided.

She’s polling pretty well in South Carolina. If the others drop out or totally fade away…

You are so fuking naive.  The media cares about power.    The media does not make money on ratings.   They make money by being the voice of the powerful.  Suck up to big government and big corporations and they will get endless ad revenue.   They hope to pressure Trump into putting her on as VP and then they hope to take Trump out.  This is how the bastards your worship do things.   Always creating the mirage that votes matter.

You’ve got to get rid of the tinfoil and look at this through the lens of reality.

The media is interested in the horse race and reporting on it. Because that’s their job and because people are interested. So yeah, it sells papers, but it also promotes democracy by reporting on the process. And that’s a good thing.

As to your conspiracy theory, Trump can pick whatever VP he wants. Now there certainly are a lot of people that hope he picks a rational person who respects our democratic institutions. Because, remember, in a way Mike Pence was all who stood in the way of Trump’s attempt to overthrow the government following his loss in 2020. So yeah, some of us would like to make sure that there’s another person in there who will try to stop any other attempts he might make to destroy democracy, should he end up president again. That’s 100% rational and sane

What a simpleton. Your friends the neo cons were plotting to go to war in Iraq for years before Bush came along.

Al Gore spoke out against attacking Iraq and called it a mistake before we went in there.

People saying they’d sign up for W again over Gore is crazy talk. We know W is a fockup of the highest order.

Ok then.  So Bush pleasing his daddy had nothing to do with it. Any Rino neo con would have. Let this serve as another example that you repeat anything stupid you are told.

Gore was establishment as well and Iraq was a foregone conclusion it’s what the MIC wanted. Desert Storm went too quickly and they didn’t get the return they were seeking.
JFC the guy is still out there spouting globalist propaganda on the daily you don’t think he does what he’s told? We went from OBL to SH over lies and Americans ate it up like Squish at a tacos los cholos. Wake up sheeple.
