This is idiotic.  Of course it's a negative.  The immigrants aren't vetted, may carry 3rd world country diseases, etc.....The reasons are numerous why ILLEGAL immigration is a negative.  Now, one can argue that we should change our LEGAL immigration laws such that more from 3rd world countries get in that way but that's another discussion.  But that's the discussion that congress should be having, not how many illegals a day are acceptable which is the current discussion.  We are a nation of borders and laws and those should both be respected.

There is nothing positive about allowing people to come here illegally. It doesn't benefit the country in any way. It may be beneficial to the immigrants but that shouldn’t be the basis of our immigration policy. Our first and foremost consideration should be what is best for THIS country and OUR people. 

There is absolutely nothing positive about allowing millions of unvetted, low educated, low skilled, non English speaking, non assimilating people into this country year after year. I don't care how you want to spin it, it is 100% negative.

All this Bill does is appropriate money to speed up the processing of illegals entering our country. It has nothing to do with shutting down the border.

There are, of course, two narratives here for the public to choose from: 

The Democrat narrative is that Biden and the Democrats gave in to almost all of Republican demands on the border in order to reach a compromise which would also include funding for Ukraine and Israel, after Republicans insisted on tying them all together. And that even after all this was done, Republicans killed the deal because they really don’t want a deal: chaos on the border helps Trump. 

The Republican narrative is that this deal is really just another amnesty open borders package that does nothing to fix the border and that only RINOs would support it. 

The problem with the Republican narrative is that it doesn’t hold up under scrutiny. And that there is evidence that Trump really did get House Republicans to do a 180 on what they previously wanted. I suspect Democrats will win the messaging war here because they’re got the truth on their side. Doesn’t really help us though.
