It’s a collective thing. Being shot in the head is kind of hard to top. 4:1 seems about right.

I actually think you're right on this.  There is hardly any moveable votes left.  It may entrench Trump's intensity.  But it's hard to imagine Trump voters could be more energized than they already were, so this is probably only a fraction of a percentage change.  I really don't think much can happen right now to change the numbers.  Both sides hate the other so much there's no way they are going to change their vote.  Maybe apathy leads to some staying home, but I see hardly anyone changing their vote.  I think Trump is the huge favorite because even if he's a 1-2 point favorite in the popular vote, his EC advantage tends to be greater.  It's possible some of the changes in demographic support has shifted that correlation, but so far in battleground state polling it seems to at least be as strong of a correlation as it was before.

One thing I do think that has changed is I think this runs the clock out on the Dems replacing Biden.  I felt before it was only a matter of time.  I think now this prevents them from moving against him for at least a short period of time, but that may run the clock out on them replacing him.  So the one thing I feel this may have changed is the likelihood Biden is on the ballot in November.
