I don’t care about his earlier hypocrisy. What I care about is that he’s an awful human being with ideas as bad as the guy who chose him.

What a terrible time we’re going through right now. I wish patriotic Americans would wake the fock up and realize what garbage these people are. So embarrassing for us.

Only whininess coming from @Strike with his DEI comment.

It's true and undisputed.  Kameltoe was hired simply because she checked the right boxes.  Nothing whiny about it.  Some of us think that the person one heartbeat away from being President should have better credentials than that.

You think a VC who served one 18 months as a junior senator from Ohio has better credentials than a former DA and 4 year senator from California?

He has an "R" behind his name. That's how Strike thinks. It's how some feel about people with a "D" behind their name

Vance wouldn't have been my choice of the finalists but he is who I expected.  I'm not sure why all the hurt feelings over this pick when it seemed the most likely in the betting markets for awhile.  He's the age to be the heir apparent, it was what I assumed.

Well not only because he’s white. He’s also a bigot, a fool, and an a$$hole. But white did play a role.

Vance must be great if Tim hates him

Whose feelings are hurt? And how embarrassing to be the heir apparent to Donald Trump. Hard to imagine a worse fate in politics.

Probably those with the upset comments.  As far as his fate, he's a first termer in a safe Senate seat.  So it's a huge upgrade for him in probably a 75/25 or 80/20 likelihood of winning.  Granted there's always risk of giving up a safe seat for your career.  If he wants to ever be President this is a move he has to make.

Maybe, but he should not want to be President. Because like Trump, his ideas are so awful that if he is ever President his legacy will be one of disaster, embarrassment and shame, and who would ever want to be remembered that way?

Only if the Democrat wins. If Trump wins they will be sad and tragic for you. Pretty sure I will be fine but your life will be far worse.

What a load of BS.  And I absolutely will be fine.  I remember how miserable you were during Trump's first term.  That will be amplified for the next one.

Protects the MAGA legacy in case Trump dies in office, he's a white guy...so it doesnt' hurt him by taking person of color or woman.....it helps him win a state he was going to win anyway.....the guy called him Hitler, so we're going to see those ads real soon.  Maybe Trump thinks we have the technology to transplant his mind/personality into a younger host.

This is just a doubling down on the MAGA Movement...which if youre pro-Trump is a good thing and I'd expect it to rate high with those people. I don't think it moves the needle with us Centrists much though......

Rubio would've been more useful as a vote gathering strategy

That plus he’s a smarter politician.

I mean, Vance has pulled a 180 on pretty much everything. It’s not a great look

Well, you could have said this about anyone chosen because you are almost exactly the opposite on every issue from the Republicans.  It's not realistic to think people who disagree with you shouldn't have such aspirations.  And I think he believes his legacy would be much better than that.  Just as I'm sure you think Biden's done a great job, I think he's been a disaster.

At least we got an eyeliner wearing tranny in the admin, even if he's still in the closet.

Michelle Obama hasn't been in the White House since 2016.

It doesn't. Rubio may have. Burgum maybe would've helped with centrists but he didn't really give Trump a state that was in doubt either.

If only Biden didn't cater to woke and pick Kamala as his VP, we could've voted for Biden knowing someone potentially capable could take over when Biden inevitably is found unable to perform the duties of the office.
