Tyreek Hill stopped by the police before game

I don’t think I said anything about race, did I?

You didn't need to. The white/police hate speech matches. Hill deserved being detained for a moment as he was being an ahole who drove recklessly and wouldn't calm down.

Oh I misunderstood because your comment made no sense and means you cannot read. Like I said, we don’t know what happened there, but unless tyreek took a swing at em or something it would seem it was probably unnecessary.

Can you understand that? Hello? Anybody home?? Knock knock

That's now how that works.  You can be detained and put in cuffs for being threatening, resisting or refusing to listen to police commands.  It doesn't always lead to an arrest, but it's mostly for safety of the officers and the person.

Based on the reports coming out, Hill was indeed mouthing off, resisting and not listening to police commands.  Slam dunk and to the pavement you go.

The cops were dicks and probably violated policy on some things.  But, why the fock did TH put his window up?  Nothing happens if he doesn't do that.  Ugh.

Yeah, that's not going to play well for the police at all.

The union representing Miami-Dade police officers said in a statement Monday that Tyreek Hill was "uncooperative" and was "redirected" to the ground while in handcuffs during his detainment before the Miami Dolphins' game Sunday only because he refused orders to sit.

"Before the Dolphins game yesterday, an incident occurred where Tyreek Hill was placed in handcuffs before being released. First, to be clear, at no time was he ever under arrest. He was briefly detained for officer safety, after driving in a manner in which he was putting himself and others in great danger," Steadman Stahl, the president of the South Florida Police Benevolent Association, said in a statement.

"Upon being stopped, Mr. Hill was not immediately cooperative with the officers on scene who, pursuant to policy and for their immediate safety, placed Mr. Hill in handcuffs. Mr. Hill, still uncooperative, refused to sit on the ground and was therefore redirected to the ground," Stahl added.

"Once the situation was sorted out within a few minutes, Mr. Hill was issued two traffic citations and was free to leave."

So dude was more worried about keeping his window up, the cop knocking on his window, and giving  Rosenhaus a play by play than he was with complying.  Got it.

He had his window down, gave the cops his info, told the cops to hurry with the ticket, then closed the window.  Then when the cop told him to roll it down he did.  But the cops needed to exert their authoritah and pulled him out of the car.

“Keep your window down or I’m gonna get you out of the car”.  Completely legitimate for the cop to do this if he can’t see through the tint.  Especially, as I said earlier, if this is a stop that warrants custodial arrest.

Glad the officer was a man of color. Hill was being a doosh from the start.

Windows were dark, could not see in the car. What if the driver was digging out a gun?  🤡

So much stupid in this country, and in this thread.  He was uncooperative and disobeyed a clear order from the cop to keep his tinted window down - SO HE COULD SEE HIM.

Well we don’t know the whole story but seems like it was likely a massive overreaction by the gestapo there. I’ve no doubt tyreek deserved a ticket and I generally am not going to defend his character for sure, but how does that end up in him face down on the ground getting handcuffed by the side of the highway?

You’re the armchair quarterback type that wouldn’t last three days on the streets.  And if you did you’d change your tone.

Maybe you should watch the video.  He was handcuffed for…not leaving a public street?

Yep. Stay the fock out of it. It's not your business. Cops need to control the scene. Hill was the asswipe that started it all. In 2020 liberals rioted and burned down cities when the cops were told to not interfere. Not in Florida.

"calmly"....then..."ALL CAPS!!!😆

This.  I have no real problem with them getting pissy and pulling him out of the car and cuffing him after he decides to play games.  The 2nd go around while Hill was cuffed is a bit over the top.  But nothing that crazy.

Am I allowed to act like Tyreek did if I have an infraction and get pulled over?  No?  Why?  I thought I had white privilege.   I wouldnt act that way.  If you caught me speeding or whatever, I cooperate let them do whatever and go on my way.  Tyreek decided to be dramatic because he makes a lot of money and thinks hes above regular traffic violations.

This doesnt seem like rocket science.   Not sure why some people need to make things difficult then cry afterwards.

Because it’s a public area?  Worst they could get him on would be jaywalking IMO, but he was mostly in the shoulder anyway.  He didn’t even appear to be particularly close to Hill

So any scene of incident is a public area? 😆

Do you go drive down roads that are closed for construction too? 😆

He was behind them, not really in the “scene”

Same with Jonnu Smith in front of them.  That was a great example of why “just do what they say!” is often easier said than done.  You’ve got one cop telling him to leave and another screaming at him to give him his license
