It was hard to watch.  There was no awkward cackling during uncomfortable answers.   There were no weird statements about falling out of coconut trees.  There was no avoiding answer a question no matter how many times it was asked.  It was just two people honestly discussing interesting topics and stories.

There was some stream of consciousness weirdness but overall I think It does seem to disprove the notion of an alleged cognitive decline.   But it’s boring as hell.  I like that he brought up Bo Nickal

Not only did he bring up Bo Nickal, he turned the interview around and started interviewing Rogan about the UFC for like 30 minutes.  

Not only can you not say he has cognitive decline after watching that interview, you can't say he's not highly intelligent and knows what he's talking about.

Well as @Mike Honcho pointed out, he got a lot of the UFC information wrong, not that I’d expect him to know it.  He has golfed with Bo Nickal, I doubt he’d know who he was otherwise. 

But it was certainly smart of him to ask Rogan questions about the UFC so he wouldn’t have to spend 3 hours talking about actual election issues.

I’ve posted most of this elsewhere but:

-Better economy under Trump

-Lower taxes/increased standard deduction

-Operation Warp Speed

-Better track record on foreign policy vs Biden/Harris

 

Now there are certainly things I’m not crazy about, namely being concerned that Elon Musk is going to tank the economy by firing half of the federal employees like @Cdub100, and putting RFK Jr in a position where his antivax ideas gain mainstream acceptance.  And I’m not really a fan of Trump as a person, but as President he’s still better than the alternative IMO.  I also get more annoyed by his supporters than himself, so it’s fun to prove them wrong which is often pretty easy to do.

I’ve also never claimed I’m “right leaning” like I think @jerryskids has claimed. I typically don’t even really follow politics, and I’ve consistently stated I’ve voted for both Dems and Republicans.  I live in NC and will probably only vote in 3 races, Trump, and 2 Dems - Stein for governor (moreso a vote against Mark Robinson), and Jeff Jackson for attorney general who I do genuinely like.

Trump is the most beloved president of my lifetime. He got the most beloved democrat in the race, RFK, to join his team. He got the most successful and impactful entrepreneur in the US to genuinely endorse him. He has insane crowds that boggle the mind at every event. Kamala is the worst candidate to ever run. The campaign is an embarrassment and a disaster. There has been more party switching this election than we have ever seen. No body is switching from Trump to Kamala unless they are some crooked politician. No citizens are.

If he doesn't win the vote, no one can make a logical case against election interference.

What liberals should do, if Kamala "wins", is put aside their bias and ask how the hell is that possible. The integrity of the election is far more important than who gets elected.

 I watched the entire interview. The topic of energy was brought up by Rogan. When he asked Trump about alternative green energy, his response was our abundance of fossil fuels and how we can use these natural resources to share with the other countries. Then he said that he is all for solar energy and electric cars as long as they are built in America. Then Trup brought up solar wind farms in New Jersey and California and other states. There so many that have been built that ar graveyards of those sites that no longer work as they were abandoned and neglected because of the company’s failure to provide provide proper maintenance and the cost of replacing the wind blades and the proper sites to dispose them. So now they sit and work and are an eyesore. Trump bought up the ones in New Jersey and how if you go to farms, they are littered with dead birds surrounding them. Then he said that before the farms close to the shores are confusing the sounds they hear and swim closer to the shore and beach themselves. There has been a ten + increase in the amount of beached whales. Not to not forget about the dead birds. 
 

And the politicians,

I 100% agree with Trump. I don't like the government forcing car makers into the electric car market by killing the combustion engine. The MPG target is terrible.

I like electric cars and plan to own one someday. That being said our grid cannot handle everyone owning one right now. Bitcoin mining fixes this.

And the production of electricity to charge the batteries is still not green.   Until we go nuclear, the whole point of the electric vehicle makes no sense.
