Me too. Shameful. I remember going to games in the 80s and 90s and never saw that behavior. I had a great time talking trash to fans of other teams, but it never got personal or nasty. I once had a running dialog with a Cowboys fan down the concourse as we found our seats; when we parted we high fived and agreed that whatever happened, the Packers would always blow. That was on a Monday night in '99, so everyone was good and lit. Emmitt Smith ran for a million yards but the Vikes won. The good ol days.

I took my 8 year old son to a Red Sox at Phillies game a while back.  We were both wearing Red Sox jerseys. After the game, outside the stadium, a car full of guys drives by us.  The guy in the passenger seat says, “Go back to Boston” and throws a half full, glass beer bottle at us.  It landed right on my son’s foot and smashed. Fortunately he wasn’t cut.

Baseball is the sport seemingly least likely to have POS fans ruin your experience, but leave it to Phillyfan to fuk that up, too. It's like an entire region flushes intelligence, humanity, and sound judgment and turns into rabid morons every time a team plays. I actively root against every Philly team now just because their fans are so foul.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of people losing their jobs for ill behavior outside of work unless it's some very serious behavior.  I mean, if this guy loses his job then his family suffers too and who's going to end up taking care of them if he can't find another job or another job that can pay for the things they have?  We are.  So in that case we lose too.

I think public shaming and banning him from games is probably enough.
