weepaws 3,191 Posted February 3 I would never mention my race when speaking at the podium, and I have never done so.  But I will not hide what I stand for, I do start with at every speaking event, I’m a Christian, and I have God’s Holy Word , The Bible with Me. Indeed Deuteronomy 8:18. Bit thou shalt remember the Lord thy God, for it is He that give power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is This day.  Shame on those that put anything else before God, and shame on those who fear to speak about Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior.  Amen Thanks

jerryskids 6,790 Posted February 3 Can a Leftie here explain to me why such statements/positions are valid, but we are supposed to call Judea and Samaria the "West Bank," when they have been Jewish homelands for centuries before Islam existed, and in fact "Jew" and "Jewish" come from "Judea"?

Until the Democrat Party moves away from the radical left, and gets back to some semblance of sanity, I do not want them near power or authority. If they refuse to admit where they are wrong, they remain entrenched in an inane philosophy. This should help Republicans enjoy ongoing success in elections and with them come the common sense that evades liberals.

I’ve always been for abortion decisions to be between a woman and her doctor without government interference. Yes it’s a core conviction. Whether the state should fund it is a separate question, depends on the circumstances, usually not, and not a core conviction.  2. I have always been for generally open immigration, never open borders. I am generally extremely sympathetic to non-violent undocumented immigrants who have been law-abiding once they arrived here, and I want them to stay and be given amnesty (with certain conditions). Yes these are core convictions.  3. The trans question is pretty new to me. I have no convictions about it except that the government needs to leave these folks alone to do what they want so long as they don’t harm anybody else. That’s basic libertarianism and it’s a core conviction. Every other question surrounding this issue changes for me depending on the circumstances.

Your analogy is flawed. you, like many, believe in private property and many people believe in legal immigration. My analogy is only "flawed" in that you don't like it. it's a slightly silly but very simple analogy. In my scenario I broke 1 law upon entering your home and afterwards I break no additional laws
