I get Giants won 2 Superbowl's but Eli only finished in the top 10 of QBs twice with 6th being the highest. Career rating in the lower 80s. 118-118 W-L record. Eli was a good QB, but HOF players are the best of the best and he never was.

If they kept the HOF extremely exclusive like you say, then yes, he would not be. But they haven’t.

That's a no for me.

Hardcore troubadour 14,702 Posted February 7 The best thing Eli has going for him is 2011. Went through the gauntlet and carried his team to a title vs the NfL’s best. His performance in the NFC championship that year was incredible. Got the shitt knocked out of him 11-12 times and got back up. A performance for the ages. They don’t hit them like that anymore. Fnord 1,940 Posted February 7 Awesome to see Jared Allen going in. HOF waaaaaay overvalues Super Bowl wins in their criteria. Take those away and Eli, Aikman, and Namath have zero chance.

When they put in Terrell Davis, who left early for injury, I kept wondering okay, when does Sharpe get in---he was the best or 2nd best WR in the league(only behind Rice) and he Diliweg, Wright and Majkowski throwing him passes, once he got Farve they were unstoppable. Took way too long, but glad he's finally getting his due.
