This isn’t true . Perhaps it seemed that way to you or some that thought they knew. At least it isn’t true with the 15-20 people in the “top secret “ FBG MAGA facebook group.  Honest info from  the powers that be was  3-4 people were making 90% of the reports .

I got pinched a few times over there and didn't complain, though one of them was pretty nitpicky.

The final straw was 8 months for something pretty tame (wish I could remember what I said but I can't). On the same page as my post, jonmx was full-on jonmx-ing, ranting and being an ass; you know the schtick. He didn't get booted, I did. The moderation was never as one-sided as the conservatives made it out to be. When my suspension ended, I asked Joe about it in a thread where he was talking to posters about their suspensions and actually disclosing some of the behind-the-scenes decision making. He never answered. I'm done with that place.

The “top secret“ FBG MAGA Facebook group was a fiction. It never existed, they pretended it did to give the appearance that they had some sort of inside information from the mods. It had the flavor of an urban legend they perpetuated to make them appear to have some degree of power or importance (of which in reality, they had none).

And to repeat FTR once again, after complaints about my posting "random tweets" Joe did ask me to "tone it down" and to post less tweets...

Since the mods never identified who was banned (or why) it can't be stated as a fact that conservatives were banned more. It did seem like it was more conservatives, but maybe it was because that they were more vocal about it.

Shortly after that we had a private conversation in which I offered to leave the board if he thought I was creating a problem for him, and he said no and urged me not to. He never threatened me, he never warned me. The warning that @Captain Obvious linked was related to a specific incident, not to my overall posting in the board. I didn’t lie. And the FBG shutting down had nothing to do with me. It was dudes like Tonydead trying to get it shut down.

My handle was Tchoupitolus. And I fawking hated that dump! Couldn’t stand many of the posters, strick mods, and of course, the cascading responses that took forever to read. So I posted a comment about how the only tail most you can get is pulling a tail at a kids petting zoo. And  permabaned in twenty minutes and they immediately deleted the entire thread. I laughed and laughed and told myself “It’s better to burn out than fade away”.

I think it mostly happened because conservative posters reported everybody. It was pretty rare of me to report anyone; you had to be really offensive. But the Trumpers did it all the time. On purpose I think to get the whole thing shut down. There were a few libs too but it was 90% comservatives who were the problem. 

This may be the most inaccurate thing I've read all month.    I spent years there, mostly wandering the FF sub-forums, but wandered into the Politics forum from time to time over a 2 year period, and was banned with no warning for merely starting a thread that Joe Bullsh*t didn't like.     The responses here are spot on.   That place was a cesspool of censorship and almost all of it was Joe and his handpicked moderators trying to protect people's feelings.
