What do you listen to in your car?

Recommended Posts

I haven't listened to music in the car for years now. It was sports talk radio, but since I quit listening to that once I quit sports altogether.

I listen to podcasts with the occasional audio book. I dot quite a bit of driving so I listen to a lot of long podcasts.

Podcasts usually. Both otherwise sports talk radio, Drexel U music, a jazz/classical channel or NPR.

It was once sports talk and classic rock. Mike and the Mad Dog at their peak. Sports talk is so bad now I haven’t really listened much in years. It’s so so bad when a guy like Macafee and Steven A are the top of the list.

I had to stop when it turned out that every sports talk guy was a liberal who backed the establishment 100% during covid. Jason Whitlock is one of the few sane sports talk folks.

I listen to a couple of movie podcasts, the Rewatchables and Cinephobe podcast this time of year, in the fall I sprinkle in a couple of Packer podcasts after games.

Mostly just KFAN (Mpls sports talk radio), unless it is boring.  Then I put on music.  I have a thumb drive with over 10,000 songs on it.

But my drive to and from work is only 8 min....15 if I purposely take the "long" way.

Scary. Exact same for me, but my thumb drive only has about 1500 songs on it.

Sports and NPR.  Switch to "pop radio" when daughter gets in.  Podcasts on long trips.
