Years back I worked a side gig installing security cameras. We had to do a liquor store one time. I was there for a few days and could not believe the amount of people coming in there first thing in the morning.  Lots of airplane bottles and pints of vodka.   I could see some of them open it and take a swig as soon as they got in the car.

A black woman shot and killed a KC firefighter in broad daylight and wasnt charged. Literally shot Anthony Santi in the back because he was fighting with her boyfriend that had just tried to rob a place at gunpoint. 

Typically when charges arent filed, they dont keep you in custody. Especially during weekday hours.
