Obviously he deserves the chair now, but I’m not really buying the “he was a career criminal that should have still been in jail if not for Democrat policies!” argument.

Most of his prior crimes were not terribly serious, and he had already served 5+ years for one of the serious ones.

His only arrest in the last 3 years was for “misuse of 911,” where he apparently claimed someone had given him “man-made material that was controlling his actions.” And the PD’s “crisis response team” interacted with him 3 times in 2024.

So, sounds like the discussion should be about mental health.  But of course the usual suspects here and elsewhere will make it about race and Democrats bad.

A 14 year criminal history should definitely get you put away for life. His own mother has said repeatedly that he shouldn't be allowed in society.

Thanks for titling this in neutral non-biased way. 

Horrific tragedy. We need to really bring back mental institutions where someone like him could be kept away from the public. We shouldn't wait for murders to occur to have an excuse to lock someone like him up. Lastly, we need to invest in our children's mental health so they don't grow up to be menaces to society.
