Jimmy Kimmel fired

Actually yes many things he said was hate speech. It was open dialogue, he said it in open debate but it was certainly hateful stuff:

There is no way to reasonably read this stuff and say “oh it’s a legitimate point of view, I just disagree.” Not if you’re a decent person. He was, unfortunately, a white supremacist bigot. He didn’t deserve to die for it. But he was one.

Nope.  i get that you don't have the intellectual capacity and/or the intellectual honesty to discuss the topics he's commenting on, but that is on you, not him.

Whats this now?

Kimmel goes from treating women the way he did on the Man Show to shedding tears for leftists ideology. Why? Because he does messed up sht people in Hollywood have access to. You don't realize how bad the abuse is in Hollywood?

Colbert is a pedo too.

No, you're not just stating facts.  You leftists believe anything you don't agree with is hate speech.  Charlie Kirk was all about open dialogue.  Just because you didn't agree with his stances doesn't make those stances hate speech.  Your attempt to justify his assassination is disgusting.

Not justifying his assassination you POS.

I guess I’ll jot you down as someone who doesn’t think him saying “stupid Muslims” is a slight against all Muslims.

Have you ever actually followed or watched Kirk?

He never preached hate, he debated with facts. He was very respectful and gave everyone an open format. He never approached them, it was an open, optional discussion.

People just didn't want facts. If you say Blacks statistically commit more crimes than whites you're automatically deemed racist by the left. Yet, it's truth. How can you debate someone who doesn't know or is afraid to admit the facts?

You only hated Kirk because you didn't like the truth.

Oh boy. That will really get him.

I'm sure everyone is hanging on the edge of their seats waiting for your approval in life.

Focking retard. 😆

Really, is that where Libs are now? And you wonder why your party has no leader or direction?

I’ve said before that what I’ve seen of his college campus talks weren’t that bad.

It was his social media and on conservative podcasts where he was more divisive.

If you think invoking 9/11 to say that Mamdani shouldn’t be elected isn’t divisive, then I can’t help you.

I've said a few times here- the way he edited together videos and everything was more just setting up boogeymen to argue against to keep his grift going. The presentation was the problem more often than not. But yes he did say some insane things that were clearly meant to be divisive and appeal to a certain segment of people.

It's the grifters playbook.

1) say or post outrageous thing

2) walk it back, explain it away, obfuscate and what about

3) repeat

All the while gaining friends and enemies and riches.

So as I assumed there is a lot more to the Kimmel clip from the other day than what was reacted to. I read the comment he made and wondered what the punchline was and saw that portion printed everywhere. However, it was really just an awkward set up to a series of jokes- a few of which were more funny than unfunny. So basically what we have is the MAGA mooks doing exactly what they have cried about for years with cancel culture. I would also argue the full context of everything makes the clip play way differently and highlights exactly how out of context the one comment was used.

Gutterboy and Mooney were unaware of that.

Okay..

How does that play into the Jimmy Kimmel story?

Also, the waiver process (for better or worse) was defended by citing previous waivers given by Ajit Pai which the Supreme Court upheld. I guess your problem is him....or maybe the guy who appointed him.

But either way- none of that is related to anything I've said on the Kimmel story.

Jimmy Kimmel is a doosh, but I think we all agree the FCC shouldn’t be threatening licenses in retaliation for the things he says … right?

I don’t know how to tell you this politely but there is a really good chance you are retarded.

Does anyone honestly think this is ok?  We should all be bothered by this.  We don't want to country to keep going in this direction.  I don't care how petty you are.

“(Referring to Joy Reid, Michelle Obama, Sheila Jackson Lee, Kentanji Brown Jackson)…you do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. You had to take a white person’s slot.”

This was a racist comment. There’s no “intellectual honesty” or “intellectual capacity” that would make this comment not racist, not hateful. And your denial of this makes you nothing more than an apologist for racism, and not a very smart one.

I know we'll be ok.  I'm tired of it all though.  I miss the days when we had hilarious movies and TV shows because people didn't freak out over what was said.  We've lost a lot of what's made us great.  The right has become so petty they are starting to become more like the left.

This is the big thing. People should not want this in any way whatsoever.
