peenie 1,690 Posted October 4, 2016 This song always makes me cry and I'm irritated that Boyz to Men remade it because they can't bring that old school sad feeling that whoever sang this made me feel... Oh, every song in Saturday Night Fever, Flashdance and Purple Rain

parrot 789 Posted October 4, 2016 LOVED that Eye of the Tiger movie! good stuff The song was written by Survivor guitarist Frankie Sullivan and keyboardist Jim Peterik and was done so at the request of Rocky III star, writer, and director Sylvester Stallone, after Queen denied him permission to use "Another One Bites the Dust", the song Stallone intended to use as the Rocky III theme, in the film.[2] HTH. vuduchile 1,941 Posted October 4, 2016 You boys have fun debating over 2nd place. This is the correct answer. When this song was all over the airwaves, my high school friends and I would sit in my truck and listen to the radio waiting to hear this song before every football and basketball game. Once we heard the song, we were properly pumped up to play.

Granted, he gets knocked out by a football to the head in the end, but all-in-all, still the best the Jets could hope for.
