6 pointsI know. I know. Right wing Washington Post. https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2024/09/19/earth-temperature-global-warming-planet/ Look at that graph. We've been much hotter. And, according to the article, they found a clear link between CO2 and temperature. What they've been telling us for the last couple decades is that once we pass a certain point of no return, we will never be able to lower the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. But, this research suggests that's exactly what has happened in the past. So, we can take that talking point off the board. They also paint a doomsday scenario where if it does get a little bit hotter we won't be able to handle it. That makes no sense given our level of technological advancement, allowing us to adapt better than any species has in the past. Plus, we have AI now which can solve anything. In any event, this article is another trying to create more climate change hysteria but in reality, when scrutinized, it shows that any climate change issues we're facing can be managed and adapted to. We should continue trying to be better stewards of the environment but we should not destroy our economy, way of life, and standard of living doing so.

6 pointsTim, you have zero rights pointing fingers at other people regarding this. You are the king of misinformed and misunderstanding. Just sit down and watch from the gallery. Respectfully, of course.

5 pointsI've actually been following this case pretty closely. The evidence is very strong for guilt here. The "new" evidence isn't new. The big reveal was that his DNA wasn't on the knife used to kill the victim. This turned out to be a falsehood. It's true they couldn't find any but that's because the knife had been contaminated with the DNA of people who worked the original trial. Even the defense's own expert witness testified that he couldn't say that Williams' DNA WASN'T on the knife, just that there were multiple DNA samples. That's unfortunate but the conviction didn't rely on DNA to begin with. The other evidence was sufficient to convict and sentence him to death. Additionally, a previous governor had appointed a special panel of judges to look in to the case and, after SIX years, they still hadn't come to a conclusion. The current governor said enough is enough and disbanded that commission, and I agree with that decision. You should be able to form a conclusion after six years absent some new revelation about the crime. Neither the defense or the people up in arms over this case have refuted one piece of evidence that actually tied Williams to the crime, such as all the victims belongings being found in his car, the FACT that he sold the victim's husband's laptop a day or two after the crime was committed, etc.....This case is only "controversial" due to the activists using it to push their agenda. To Jerry's point - I would rather we come up with a new standard of guilt for capital cases. I've said this before. I think the standard should be "beyond ALL doubt" instead of "beyond reasonable doubt." That would also allow us to expedite the execution of the sentence. However, absent that I'm ok with the current process although I'd still be in favor of expediting executing the sentence. I don't believe in abolishing the death penalty. There are simply some cases where it is an appropriate punishment. On another note, there was another execution tonight. In Texas. Good riddance to both of them.

4 pointsThus, why it was switched from Global Warming to Climate Change. Biggest Scam the World has ever seen, surpassing Covid by a landslide.
-
4 pointsNot if it's genuine. Trump is the same guy in every room because he's telling you what he thinks. Harris is somebody different depending on who is in the room because she's telling you what you want to hear.

3 pointsSoros is a liberal capitalist. He should be regarded as a great hero due to his fight against Communism. Instead, mainly because of anti-semitism, he is regarded as a villain. Which is really sad. With the possible exceptions of Dr. Fauci and Hillary Clinton, no public figure in modern times has been treated more unjustly.

3 pointsI think she’s brighter than Biden or George W Bush. She’s not smarter than Obama or Hillary but few are. She’s about at Reagan’s level of intelligence (and equal to him in honor and integrity.) She’ll be a good President.

2 pointsYeah, I do not get the timsrichocets of the world. You couldn't see that Biden had dementia for 4 years even though guys like Jerry were telling you he had dementia. There has to be some accountability for being wrong. You haven't shown an ability to see obvious things. Why should anyone trust your opinions?
-
2 pointsAgreed. I'd have gone with 96. Just below average. Much more believable That being said, it's hard to tell how intelligent someone is. I'm confident, though, in saying that her mental acuity, or processing speed, is quite low. She clearly can't think well on her feet. That's not inherently a bad thing, depending on the job. For POTUS, it is a bad thing. Some of you might recall that I used to measure this for a living, so I'm somewhat qualified to make this observation.

1 pointWhen Harris replaced Biden I thought for sure there had to be an improvement in public speaking, simply based on Biden having early/late stage dementia. What I’ve seen with Harris is someone who can put a better sentence together, but what she says makes the same (or even less) amount of sense as when Biden spoke. #78

1 pointI’m in the same boat. I’m cheap when it comes to spending money on this kind of stuff. I’m riding the wave using a dental pick after every meal. Eventually it’s getting ripped out but to hell with a crown on a tooth that is out of sight.

1 point50% of Haitians would eat feces in a milisecond if some woman with chicken bones and blood told them they had to. Why do people think the dominican republic told the UN to piss off and that they werent going to stop throwing the haitians back over the wall. But, but, but this one guy in a video said he wants 30 more! Its no different than with the hamastanians. Everybody next door knows exactly what kind of people they are dealing with. Thats why they refuse to let them in and will shoot them if they try. Haitians cant even farm and fish. They literally eat dirt. They burned 60 tons of seed because they were too stupid to grow it. Countless charities work round the clock there and nothing ever changes. Importing haitians is almost as dumb as letting hauck anywhere near kids.

1 pointHarris remains in excellent shape: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/president-general/2024/national/ The gender gap is massive (which is depressing for men.)

1 pointI used to be for the death penalty, but now I oppose it. Cases like this are part of the reason, although Rolling Stone is so Leftie, it's hard to tell how accurate it is. But in the general sense, I don't think the government should be in the business of killing it's citizens, especially in the larger sense that I believe the government is generally incompetent at most things.

1 pointHopefully, Trump treats Soros like the terrorist he is and also seizes all his assets for his crimes against our country.

1 pointOdunze... crazy talent as his draft stock reflects. Last week shows he can get it going with the rookie Qb. Expect several more big games. Jennings ...When Deebo / Kittle are back, and Aiyuk is doing his thing, nobody will remember Jennings week 3 flash in the pan.
