Democrat Senator Ben Cardin’s Staffer Filmed Gay Porno in the Senate Hearing Room- WTF is Wrong with Liberals?
avoiding injuries replied to avoiding injuries's topic in The Geek Club
Vile person. Trans is a cover for perverted pedophiles. Why are liberals associated and defensive of them. Focking bizarre. -
Dear Trans Students You are appreciated. We need you on the girls basketball and track teams.

It’s safe to say that gays and trans have been given a false sense of superiority from the left and feel like they are above the rules of normal people. Look at this perverted person’s response after the video came out. Playing the victim card. It’s sad and disgusting.

Sorry I misssd this post earlier. I’ve read plenty of stories about trans kids being bullied. I don’t have videos to present to you mainly because I’m not a big fan of collecting videos, or watching them. I think these videos, on both sides, go a long way towards destroying reasonable political discussion. They’re often edited and really ugly. I would a thousand times prefer a good written argument. This is where Tik Tok and other social media has led us. I hate it. To your main point: I am opposed to all bullying, anywhere. That includes conservative students. Woke is not perfect and one of its uglier aspects is a general intolerance of conservatism, which many woke people mistakenly confuse with bigotry, racism, fascism, etc. I am very much opposed to this aspect of woke attitudes. -
You haven’t wasted your time because I always enjoy reading your thoughtful posts. But I don’t find your arguments compelling. I do think that it’s legit. I don’t believe we’re celebrating a mental illness. I do think we should change societal attitudes to accommodate trans people.

I don't understand how you can differentiate "my" conclusion from that of the report, since I merely posted that of the report. Here, I'll post the end of the results again for you: That being said, it's clear that you don't understand my position, or choose not to. My position is: until recently, when we started celebrating being trans, the only people who were trans were... actual trans people, with gender dysphoria, who were willing to go through the long, arduous process of confirming their diagnosis, and the life-changing medical acts to change their bodies. If studies exist which show almost universal happiness with transition (you seem allergic to links on this topic BTW), I'm confident they come from this older cohort, and were likely past puberty and into adulthood before medical interventions. Since then, we've begun celebrating being trans, have had hundreds of gender clinics pop up, have had reports of less than arduous evaluation of people including young people, and lo and behold, we've had an astronomical increase in "trans" people. Particularly girls going through puberty, with the often uncomfortable growth of breasts, unwanted attention from boys, weird feelings from estrogen (side note: it's not surprising that, when such girls go on testosterone, they feel more confident). As such, it is not surprising that people from this latter, younger cohort show no statistically significant reduction in mental issues. This is completely consistent with "my" conclusion (i.e., that of the report), which is that the vast majority of people identifying as trans these days are NOT truly gender dysphoric. I would like to see us go back to how it was (I know, I know, old conservative guy), as I described above. I understand that it is hard on true trans people because they wouldn't be celebrated like they are now, but here's the unfortunate thing: life isn't always fair. They've been dealt a hand where their brain thinks they are in the wrong sex body. You can not like describing it as a mental issue, but that's what it is. That is why some people object to ANY medical intervention. Personally, I don't fall into that camp, for true trans adults -- I don't begrudge them seeking peace, unless we find some cure, which some gender dysphoric people might prefer. What doesn't make sense is changing society to conform to a mental illness: men in women's sports, men in women's spaces like prisons, spas, etc., transitioning kids just because they feel that way this month, etc. I'm confident I've wasted my time, because you are convinced that this astronomical (and growing) association with trans is all legit. I've explained above how this defies reason, and the data in the link bears that out, but you will refer to your alleged vast majority of experts, and we'll get nowhere.

I think one of those instances you would agree includes what the student endure in their congressional testimony in RLLD's video. Would you agree that what these students are describing/enduring is significantly worse than what gay/trans people in any capacity endure. If not have you got something similar. it would seem to me that the bullying is significantly worse for conservative and Jewish students on college campuses than what happens to trans people in any capacity, anywhere, but that may be a limb too far. Have you got any videos or sources of intimidation of trans people that would rival RLLD's? -
It's also unfortunate that in our current society, if you point out that radical medical changes (hormones, surgeries) don't help resolve the underlying mental health issues that people who associate with trans have, you are labeled as transphobic. This is the benefit of "woke", according to Real Tim.

As stated before, TDS stands for Trans Derangement Syndrome. Trumpy is a sideshow.

I’m not trying to troll. I’ve written before that I approve very much of most woke ideas, which are about treating everyone with dignity and respect. I like living in a woke society and I’d like our schools to have more of this, not less. And yes I’m dead serious. Are there exceptions when woke can go too far? Sure, and you guys love pointing them out. When you do I will probably agree with you in that particular instance. But overall what are we talking about when it comes to woke? Respect for gays and trans. The Me Too movement. Acknowledging the dangers of man-made climate change. Teaching the truth about the history of American race relations, and recognizing that some institutional racism still exists today. These are all good positive things. I’m for them, and I want woke to win out. -

Sound familiar righties? 1. Demand an apology and/or change in terms and policies. 2. Still not enough so firings are in order. 3. Complaints of things like speech, walking past posters, etc are making you feel unsafe. I could go on. All the stuff you supposedly hate with BLM and trans people among others on full display here and you are nodding in agreement now that it aligns with something you agree with. -

Funny how these comedians are good at framing topics this way. I often point to Chapelle's stand up about lbgtq and trans (the bit about them riding in a car) as being great at framing the issue in a accurate and funny way. That said, Bill doesn't quite get it because my sticking point is the terms like "murder" and "killing" being used. To me that implies a being that is alive first to be able to kill. That's where the right loses me as we get closer and closer to conception. -

You are such the good little cheerleader. Makes your posts about others being non-thinking sheep all the funnier. So you just think the opposite of posters like worms? Does agreeing with a lib on an issue get you kicked out of club or something? Pathetic man. Pro-tip that idiots like you and HT don't seem to understand - saying you are more in the center doesn't mean you believe you are in some magical "middle or other" on every issue. Sometimes I am (the border), sometimes I side with the right (guns, trans) sometimes I side with the left (drugs, abortion). I know it's shocking for people like you when others think about an issue first and then form their opinion, not caring if another anonymous person on the internet agrees with them or not. -

People got canceled for, what, being insufficiently supportive of the trans agenda and the like? Well this lady just got canceled for being insufficiently supportive of the Zionist cause. It’s the same thing, bud -
Very fair way of handling it, and that seems to be where I fall in. I typically don't seem to use pronouns a ton anyway so I just use names more often. Both ways you describe here are perfectly reasonable and how we have talked to all involved about it. It's basically what we have worked into our training and hiring discussions. I have no problem calling somebody a different name, I do it all the time. I don't have an "issue" saying a different pronoun, as I don't think that requires any belief on my part if they are a man/woman - also one thing I have come grown to accept as an old fart with the kids is that them saying they/them often doesn't mean they think they are indeed a different sex. It's just clunky so I often don't bother and stick to names/or general "hey, could you go do X". If asked if a trans woman is the same a woman the answer is no, and I am against them competing against women.

You seem to be assuming reaction. Real world application of what you posted- you have this co-worker. Do you attempt to address them as they ask, or do you refuse? It seems this is the main area I part grom the right or at leadt most around here. The lefties don't like me because I don't want trans in sports. The righties seem to take issue with me having no issues calling them a different name or pronoun in settings like this.

Yeah. If you’re going with a diversity hire, white woman ain’t gonna cut it. You gotta go black or trans to insulate yourself. Maybe Latino. Not Asian though. White adjacent. That diversity hire at Harvard will most likely be fine. The white chicks might not make it. -
Serious answer for LC is that I don't think anything has changed. There are still "tomboys". Imo this group isn't the same. At least around these parts tomboys are out hunting, farming, playing sports, etc. The group I see being non-binary/trans are usually the theater/manga/art kids. Generalization for sure, and doesn't fully account for people like Lia Thomas so take the observation for what it is.

I know what it is, thanks. The very opening of the video states, "at MIT, does calling for the genocide of Jews violate MIT's code of conduct of conduct or rules regarding bullying or harassment?" The Palestinian mob there, in addition to obstructing people and classes, were chanting for Intifada, which can be interpreted as a call for the genocide of Jews (or best case, a violent uprising). So the question was a fair one. Kornbluth's (MIT President) answer was remarkably bad: "I've heard chants, which can be considered antisemitic depending on the context, when calling for the elimination of the Jewish people." I mean what the holy fock is that? Also, all of the presidents followed the lead of "only if it is directed at specific people." What horseshiot. I wish they had been asked if a call for the elimination of, say, black people, or trans people, would be considered bullying or harassment? It all comes down to where you land on the intersectional map. If you want the elimination of a perceived oppressed class, you are a disgusting phobe-a-phobe. If you call for the elimination of a perceived oppressor class, you are a good little marxist and the university's indoctrination has gone well.
