IndyTom 0 Posted April 8, 2007 He is in good company. Billy Donovan and Tony Dungy said variations of the same thing. If he thanked Muhammad you probably would not have posted the thread, but the mention of JC seems to get ones undies in a bunch. Happy Easter.

Recliner Pilot 61 Posted April 8, 2007 I guess jesus can be everywhere and anywhere. Wherever it's convenient when the religous zombies need him. Hence the word omnipotent. If he has a relationship with Jesus then Jesus is with him 24/7 no matter what the guy is doing. Acknowledging that fact on the most important date to Christianity doesn't seem out of line. It's not like he said Jesus was making his putts for him.
Strike 5,841 Posted April 8, 2007 Hence the word omnipotent. See and I always thought this word referred to a man's ability to get it up again just a few minutes after release. I was omnipotent once.......

Did anyone else know what a big fan of golf jesus was? He wasn't "pulling a card". It wasn't like it was a prepared comment. The guy was on cloud nine....he was just being honest about his relationship with his Savior. I don't believe God is too interested in who wins or loses these things unless it serves His purposes. What He does promise is peace and strength to those who ask for it who have a solid relationship with him. I think we did this whole topic before, didn't we? After the Colts won the Super Bowl.........

I hope Shareef Abur Rahim wins the NBA finals MVP and says, "Thanks be to Allah, He was with me the whole time. Now let's stone the cheerleaders to death" Don't criti-cize it, legal-ize it. People who get all pissy about religion are usually afraid that they are making the wrong choice in life or don't understand the wonderful benefits religion brings to society. I'm not religious at all, but I love the fact that religion exists. It serves to strengthen the moral fiber of society. It provides hope to the masses. It's pretty handy to have around. birdbrain3X 0 Posted April 9, 2007 There are just more believers than non-believers. Majority rules folks. Some of you atheiests need to get less uptight about Christians, it will raise your blood-pressure to unhealthy levels. Plus look at it this way, you've got all of eternity in damnated HE LL to worry about Jesus so why bother now. I hope Jesus wasn't the one that gave Johnson his fat wife. Hell of a round he shot - all that pressure and he stepped up his game and won. So STFU and appreciate it and who gives a flying fock if you personally disagree with his faith. I say each to his own. Cruzer 1,995 Posted April 9, 2007 the guy just took down tiger woods and won the masters - get over it. i'd much rather see this than a nba/nfl wr type who stands in front of a mike grabbing their johnson saying, "know-what-i'm-sayin, know-what-i'm-sayin, know-what-i'm-sayin."
