ED III is no more :(

Recommended Posts

In response to Tebow's upcoming SB ad against abortion, I think edjr should run an alternative ad touting the virtues of abortion for people who are too lazy to accept responsibilities in life.

the "anonymity" of the internet really lets the crazies show their true colors.

it's puzzling trying to understand how people can be so focked in the head.

I didn't read all the details about your situation edjr, just enough to know that it wasn't a happy/easy time or decision for you.

My opinions of abortion are irrelevant here, I pass no judgement on you either way.

Sorry you had to go thru all that and I'd guess that having this experience probably makes you more qualified to talk about being pro-life or pro-choice than many of these clowns around here.

I just pray that through this you and your girlfriend find God

You should start with food products. Apparently he likes to hide in toast and tortillas and stuff like that. If that doesn't work I have some friends that told me he just left Chicago and was headed down to New Orleans.

I figured for sure, there would be a group of crazies outside the clinic with signs or whatever, but there was just 4 guys with beads and they were praying.

Anyone that thinks this was the 'easy' decision has no focking idea what the last 3 weeks have been like. I am just happy the USA still has kept one thing right and that is to allow people to make their own decisions in these matters.

Instead of asking why Edjr and his girlfriend made a decision that effects no one but themselves, ask why your God decided to make so many people suffer in Haiti last week.

So according to your little story book, Edjr should have had the kid then sold it into slavery. Nice of this loving God to setup guidelines for child slavery.

Exodus 21:7

"When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she shall not go free as male slaves do."

Which one of you nut jobs is responsible for killing the entire NFL? Somebody better tell Teebow to read his Bible.

Exodus 35:2

"On six days work may be done, but the seventh day shall be sacred to you as the sabbath of complete rest to the LORD. Anyone who does work on that day shall be put to death."

Are the barbers going to the lake of fire or just the person that hired them?

Leviticus 19:27

"Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard."

I feel bad for the farmers the poor bastards probably don't even know they are going to the lake of fire.

Leviticus 19:19

"...do not plant your field with two kinds of seed. Do not wear material woven of two kinds of material."

Left the house at 9:30 yesterday morning to drive into Boston. Was there until 2:30, the place was like a meat factory, I was in complete shock how many girls under 25 were in there. She ended up being 7 weeks and the medical abortion option was optional, so they gave her a pill to take, she takes the final pills at 2:30 today, no turning back now.

When she had the Ultra Sound the doctor told her she had a Bicornuate Uterus she would be lucky to carry a baby to 7 months. I did my own research when I got home and it may have been the best thing after all.

Sorry Rusty and everyone else. :nono:

Happy Birthday buddy :(

Whoa there buddy. You've been getting all this abuse for aborting a child that was likely to be miscarried anyway? WFT.

I didn't read the whole thread, so maybe I'm missing something. Anyway, my thoughts are with you today.

Take care.

When I was around 25 I got my girlfriend at the time pregnant and she had an abortion. We were both gainfully employed with good families and there weren't any health concerns, we just realized we didn't want to spend the rest of our lives together so why bring a child into that situation? I can tell you honestly I have never once regretted my decision or felt any guilt whatsoever. I'd be really surprised if this is something you ever think about much later on, much less an event that haunts you for the rest of your life.

I always wanted to throw aborted fetuses off that bridge in Lawrence off 93. Imagine the look on some dooshbag's face when a fetus slaps and smashes all over their windshield.

Well that's a pretty cavalier attitude to take. It's a well known fact that getting an abortion has some pretty serious psychological consequences for most women. Hell, a woman would have to be a really cold b!tch to NOT feel some sort of remorse about it. So I'm glad that you were able to get over it so easily, but I don't think that is most people's experience and it probably wasn't your girlfriend's.

I'm not going to pretend it had some deep effect on me when it didn't. Unless my girlfriend at the time had some remorse she never expressed, I don't think it bugged her much either. She's married with three kids now. I'm open to being corrected but I'd be really surprised if there are any credible studies or polls out there (i.e. not from a pro lifer site) that show most women have any lasting grief over getting an abortion. I don't doubt that some women do but I'd guess the majority don't.

Really? Do you think that most women can abort a life inside of themselves and NOT feel some sort of maternalistic failure? Like I said, it's possible, but it'd have to be a cold woman indeed. I once dated a woman who'd had an abortion a few years earlier and she was pretty much focked in the head as a result. And no she wasn't pressured into it or anything, she was as pro-choice as they come but at the same time she obviously had some feelings of remorse she hadn't quite worked out. Most women probably don't have that extreme of a reaction, but I guarantee you that it's not just over and done with never to be thought of again.

Of the women I've known who'd had abortions, maybe 5-6 that I know of (I'm sure there are some I don't), not one of them felt any remorse. But maybe that's because they were the ones who talked about it? I don't know. I've just never met a woman who regretted that decision. I don't know many religious types and I'm sure that has something to do with it, too.

Very sad time. Now that I have a 4 week old baby boy, part of me wishes I had an almost 3 year old child as well. Too bad it would have been with that girl. In the end, it all worked out.

Man thats great. Ive been there..not a fun sitting in that office.....but medically we had to.

And it was awful.....almost as cliche as it got. Office was in an old school with literrally long dark hallways lit by hanging bulbs....and there were protesters outside waiting when we left.....just awful.

Got a 2 year old girl and i know what you mean.....happy for ya though man.
