Does anybody here earn more than $ 250,000 ?

Recommended Posts

Of course I'm targeting the Republican voters but if you do earn that amount annually and you are a Dem, please feel free to say so.

Not sure where you are going with this, but I'd say 95% of my Republican friends earn MUCH less than 250K per year. In fact, most of them (including myself), earn somewhere between 30k-80k a year...

75% of Republicans are Democrats and just don't know it.

This year, the wife and I combined will be close, within $5000-$10,000. Everyone in PA/NJ now wants a generator !, we'll see how sales finish the year.

We're both democrats on the social issues, but if Romney brings more sales for my business, I'd be fine with him.

More for Barack last time....over the Alaskan wacko actually sniffing the White house....Repubs need to loosen up with the Tea Party extreme conservative christain thinking, that's twice it's failed....America keeps speaking and they keep losing.

That's like the 95th percentile or something. So as long as we've got like 20 people, you know we've got people in that income bracket.

Except that only 1/10th of 1 percent of that 5 percent would be spending their free time on a FF website. This is clearly an uneducated guess, though.

Yeah, this site basically consists of a welfare queen (PhurPhur) a cripple (CoColts) several students (Naomi, Med) and 47 people who seemingly spend approximately 6 of their 8 work hours a day arguing politics on a football site (Newbs, MDC, RP, Drobs, et. al).

For focks sake, we had a guy lose a leg, and is stuck in a hospital bed, and even his ass is too busy to post here much.

So no, I doubt many people here are captains of industry.

If I made even half of 250k I'd never even be on the Internet. Id be knee deep in high priced hookers, all night parties with nfl players and wearing chinchilla. Iv never made more than 30k and I spend a fair amount of money. That amount is just ridiculous to me and far beyond rich. Even 100k and I'd be in a rolls Royce. You dips making that much and saying how broke u are need to get real.

You spend less time here than me?

I make just under $75K btw. My wife and I total around $100K now that she's part time. I could probably earn more if I worked harder but I value my time talking with you geeks too much.

Yes, I have, in two separate years.

I do not currently. The wife (36D) and I live very comfortably on about $170K, which will be better than the last two years.

Any of you who do could send me around $5000.00 so I don't lose my house. :(

Just a thought

Top 5% is 155,000. I think 250,000 Is somewhere around top 2%.

Although I am sure there are 1 or 2 people on here that make that much.

"Earn" is a tricky word. Many small business owners gross over 250,000 a year. Many of these same owners net almost nothing. Still, these business owners will get hit with Obama's highest of all his tax increases based on their gross and go out of business.

Link to a tax based on gross? That would be a first of its kind. They don't get to deduct their operating expenses anymore? I would have thought I'd have heard if they completely revamped the tax code from when I studied it in law school.

No, but I know people who do make this much and yes, they can easily afford to pay a little extra, and still keep their boats (both of them) and their Lexus. Taxes will not break them by any means.

Typical philly. Claims he knows something, and when asked to illuminate the rest of us, he just makes a stupid joke.

At least you used to be mildly amusing. Now you're less funny than RP and just as annoying.

Nothing makes me happier than making people who used to tolerate me turn to completely hating me. But let's be honest, you've been hating me from about the beginning of your Geek Bored participation. No worries. It's stunning how far more intelligenter I am than you.

No, actually, my first few years here, you were pretty focking funny, what with the "bucket of aids" and "Dead hooker" stuff.

But eventually you got stale, and have slowly morphed into yet another grouchy annoying right wing political hack troll. Yawn.

Very well put! I could vote republican on the national level (I do at the state and local level) but the wacked out extremism has completely turned me away.....

And

If every person making over $250,000 paid 90% of their earned income to the IRS how close would we be to eliminating the debt?

:dunno:
