Captain Goomy Noomy Roo 50 Posted October 26, 2015 Maclin was a late scratch with the concussion... so a lot of folks (including me) grabbed Diggs and put him in there as next man up.
jgcrawfish 232 Posted October 26, 2015 my teams are pretty loaded, but now I wish I had made room for Diggs, particularly with LaFell dropping everything that came his way.

aljack88 5 Posted October 26, 2015 I started him over maclin. Did Diggs start over Maclin in every league? mmmm, no. 200 miles from home Sunday morning and getting the "no signal" message on the phone doomed 1 game (along with Dion Lewis being out).

erikthebassist 41 Posted October 26, 2015 Started him over olsen, and since I didn't catch the late D Lewis scratch and took a goose egg for rb2, that move saved my week, I won by 8 points
General Gannicus 12 Posted October 26, 2015 In my post (2nd post page 1) I wrote this about Diggs - "He will battle Dion Lewis and a few others for waiver wire pickup of the year if he stays healthy and involved." This was a response - Unless you play in crazy 16+ team league he has NO chance of being the waiver wire pickup of the year. He plays in a run first offense with a QB who has only thrown 3 TD's so far, with none to Diggs. He might not even be in the lineup once the other WR's on his team are fully healthy. What did you say? I couldn't hear you over the roar of the crowd yesterday...

erikthebassist 41 Posted October 26, 2015 More like the roar of his fantasy owners Me included. He might have single handedly shored up my lineup. I now roster the following receivers: megatron r cobb a robinson edelman diggs olsen clay our league allows 4 catchers of any type, wr or te and 2 RB's. I have L Bell as my rb 1, with a rotation of yeldon, d lewis or now starks based on matchups / health at rb2. The gurley owner exressed interest in both cobb and megatron in the past. His WR core sucks and he's a bit overloaded at RB having foster, mccoy and lacy left on his roster. I'm wondering if I should offer him both for gurley knowing I can still start 4 of the 5 receivers I have left, diggs being one of them. What do you guys think of that trade offer? Non-PPR

fanfootballtn 33 Posted October 27, 2015 It's crazy he sat on the wire all last week after 2 solid games then scored a touchdown this week making him more attractive. I love it when people run to waivers to search for a player because he had a breakout game only to find him on my roster.

But yeah a WW steal of the year candidate. Drives me nuts I didn't pick him up everywhere after/during the bye. The thing is it looked liek Ch. Johnson would be coming back. - Well Charles ain't ever getting his job back.

stonewall 647 Posted October 28, 2015 I own him in a couple of leagues, but am still tempering expectations. He has looked fantastic....but could still prove to be mediocre down the stretch once defenses start keying in on him. Bridgewater is not a stud, but he obviously loves the kid. Wallace and Johnson are good receivers, and could get some extra action if Diggs starts getting consistently double-teamed. Only time will tell, and I am hopeful.....but I am not ready to hand him the Beckham Jr. mantle just yet.

Wallace is actually not that good and last year's johnson was kidnapped and replaced by a far less efficient copy.
DontPushMe 5 Posted October 28, 2015 Looks legit. Really wish I had picked him up. The week he was the hot pickup I was #12 in waivers so had no chance. He prob wont stay on the pace he's been on, but whoever got him got a great flex and solid wr2.
weepaws 3,191 Posted October 28, 2015 Only thing I see holding him back from being a true wr 2 is the qb position . If Diggs did not lay out for that td he would have scored very avg points , and he was wide open and Bridgewater almost missed him .
fanfootballtn 33 Posted October 28, 2015 It's eating time in Chicago. It's RDD (Real Deal Diggs) coming out party like ODB 1 handed catch against Dallas last year.
Bobbyn2022 53 Posted November 20, 2015 Kids gonna be a beast. He's breaking guys like Talib off to the point any QB can get him the ball he's so open. His route a crisp, he's very quick in and out of his breaks. Kids a young Brown. I think Dion Lewis and this Kid will be the waiver Gems this year. Do I need to numb every post... tanatastic 2,062 Posted November 20, 2015 Yes diggs had a few good games and is now proceeding to cost teams playoff chances and ruin seasons. Credit not given yet, but good eye on a potential breakout.

TennisMenace 156 Posted November 22, 2015 As a Diggs owner I am lamenting his lack of targets. It is rather obvious Minny only throws as a last resort. The confidence in The Bridge is minimal. My only hope is that GB jumps out quickly to a 14-0 lead and goes full throttle like the Pack of old. Go Pack!

joeshushu 51 Posted December 20, 2015 .....and look who shows up for the fantasy playoffs, now that he is on everyone's bench. I know dropped him this week after tired of seeing him do nothing for weeks. And now Peterson goes down so my bench will probably out score my starters by 100 points. joeshushu 51 Posted September 19, 2016 Diggs & Bradford are going to be fantastic this year. Took him late this year haven't played him yet. Didn't need him last week but with AJ and Baldwin laying eggs sure could have used him today. With AJ playing Denver next week, Diggs becomes my new number one. I wonder about AP going down though if defenses start to relax up front and take Diggs more out of the equation.

Frozenbeernuts 2,264 Posted September 19, 2016 Diggs & Bradford are going to be fantastic this year. Probably. I mean using logic I would say their lack of time together and Bradford not being able to make any receiver consistent, ever, would mean it's not likely to manifest into a consistent relationship so soon. Buuuut that's using logic, and sometimes there is no logic behind what happens in football.
TimmySmith 2,782 Posted September 19, 2016 Diggs was really mired under TB as was the whole Vikes offense. Maybe Norv can get Bradford going.

With AJ playing Denver next week, Diggs becomes my new number one. I wonder about AP going down though if defenses start to relax up front and take Diggs more out of the equation. He did most of his damage after AD was injured. They couldn't react to him. But they didn't see him coming. We'll find out Sunday against Carolina if a team that game plays to stop him is able to do so. All I know is the muther dude is talented. He added so many yards after he looked to be down with nice little moves and avoided getting hit. He's slick, and clever. He's not the fastest, or the strongest, but he's smart, and the very first time they have to rely on him as a weapon he rose to the call and made people look stupid. I expect more of the same to come. I'm a proud owner and fully think he might carry me to a championship this year along with a little luck. Not Andrew Luck, just luck.
