The rest of the tissue is either muscle or fat. It looks pretty crazy when you see a ginormous fat silhouette being carried by a regular-looking skeleton.

I agree with you on this girl, but do you not believe in the different body types -- endomorph, mesomorph, ectomorph, which are more of sliding scale than an absolute designation? I am completely an ectomorph and as such limited to how much muscle I can build, but I also have it relatively easy to keep my weight low.

The endo/meso/ectomorph designations are subjective, and not scientifically validated. They were created by a psychologist who equated body "type" with temperament. There are certainly differences in our frames, muscle and fat mass, but my point remains: our skeletons aren't that different to classify the SI covergirl as a healthy weight.
