All of which will make this years' playoff flop even that much more of a bigger deal. I think that's the only thing missing from the recent history of the Century of Futility......a year where they are overwhelming favorite going into the playoffs only to fizzle out in the NLCS or something.

Certainly a possibility, but I'm not betting against it this time.

The 90's era Braves were dominant for years but only came away with one WS victory.

The Cubs freakish great season could end up being a curse. I'm not sure how Cubs fans will be able to recover if they end up blowing this one too.

Well liked in NY. Woukd have been a Yankee years ago but Bernie was still there. Sad to see him go but I wouldn't mind seeing him get a ring.

Maybe in the Bronx. In Queens he still has hit bat over his shoulder starring strike three.

They need a rebound after the baby bombers got through with them.

Do Royals fans still think they've a shot at the playoff? Lol, that's cute.

They do realize you can't just vote them in, right? :D

I believe the Astros have the 3rd best record since the break, yet continue to get dominated by Texas. It's getting borderline ridiculous, they must be on the ledge.. 13-6 last year, 11-2 already this year... It's exactly how we were with the Yankees back in the 90's - those guys owned us, physically and mentally.

Baby Bombers with the sweep over Toronto. Another team they didn't belong on the field with last year. Hey, at least I'm paying attention, and the future looks pretty good

I have no idea how KC got a ring last year Ned Yost is a fockin' idiot.

Somehow the Mets keep winning even with their starting line-up and rotation more resembling a MASH unit

NY baseball looking good. Even the selling off SpankMees are winning and looking like a revitalized team.

Fun times.

Trea Turner is a superstar. 2, 400'+ bombs last night, both absolutely smashed. He has 40/40 written all over him.

Focking Tribe is hot, winning left and right. I think they're going to catch us for HFA.

Kluber pitching extremely well the last month or so. He might just sneak in and win the Cy Young.

What's happened to the Jays? With that staff they ought to be up comfortably.. I'd like to see the Yanks sneak in - we don't play Baltimore very well, just assume their asses get left out.

That actually might be good for Nova to get out of the American League East...

Holy hell... I can't believe I actually got one thing right so far... This is my quota for the decade...

A saying about a dog, its ass and the sun comes to mind...

In 52 1/3 innings since arriving in Pittsburgh, Nova has posted a 2.41 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 43/3 K/BB ratio. Yes, you read that correctly. Just three walks across 52 1/3 innings of work. Nova has gone 5-0 over that stretch and the Pirates are 7-1 in his starts.

Omg, Astros fans have to up to their eyeballs in frustration with this Rangers team - they flat out are jinxed and can't beat them for shiat.

15-3 on the year, lost in 12 innings Monday night, blew a 9th inning lead last night.. This series came at a good time, CLE is becoming annoying.

Magic # is 7!!! It's been crazy how Cleveland has just owned the Tigers. Hard to grasp since Detroit is a good team.

Detroit has been a paper champion for 15 years. Piss-poor defense and a shakey bullpen. Its no wonder Dumbo got fired.

Dumbrowski only got fired because he was clearly planning on bolting mid-season. No one has the balls to fire anyone in Detroit.

If I'm not mistaken, if you take away the season series against the Indians, the Tigers have the best record in the AL.The team has had a great swagger to them for most of the season, but that swagger stops when they play the Indians. It's weird.

Saying it again but how in the hell Yost won a WS is beyond belief, last night marked Soria's 13th blown save and or loss,Ned's as stubborn as they come and as a KC fan cannot wait till his ass is gone.
