6000 White Nationalists storm Charlottesville, VA

Recommended Posts

Also when they don't, it's rationalized.

A. Do you believe both protests (the night before and the one during the day) were peaceful? And only got violent when the left showed up?

B. Hate to give hawker any attention...but since you quoted him. Maybe you can find for me where I have ever defended antifa, or the violent fringe of BLM? (I wont hold my breath).

You guys are insane.

People protesting nazis get horribly injured and one killed in an actor of terrorism.

But in your world the dead and maimed are the violent ones.

Do you realize how effing far gone you are??!

Exactly...the protest was not nonviolent the other night...it was not non-violent to start the next day.

But they will keep blaming the left groups. They have zero clue if those 2 groups were even out there and organized...but damn it, thats what Trump said, so they believe it.

I don't think I can stress this enough. Antifa is labeled by a terrorist group by Homeland Security. So terrorists show up to protest the first amendment and a riot ensued. I think it's fair to cast blame on both sides in this situation.

It's mind boggling that people can't put blame on both sides and even saying such makes you a "racist". I didn't vote for Trump, don't even really like him, but he's right here.......he is.....it sort of pains me to say it.

Neo-Nazis and the KKK are vile hateful groups. That doesn't really need to be even said, it's given.....accepted. Their role in what went down in Charlottesville is clear. The guy that rammed the car is in jail and charged appropriately. That part of "who is responsible" is done, put a bow on it. Everyone knows.

But there is other blame to go around too. The world isn't black and white. These Antifa groups and the militant wing of BLM are violent protesters that instigated much of this. We're not talking about college kids in flip flops with catchy signs here. These people showed up with sticks, bats, masks, helmets looking for confrontation. They've been doing this a while and its ramping up....these groups.

I and most reasonable people should point fingers at all of them, both sides. Doing that doesn't mean you condone the KKK. That's some back asswards logic.

We have no evidence to the contrary, so the only possible answer is yes. Exactly how would it have gotten violent with only one party present? :dunno:

Blame the victims.

Focking pathetic

I think we're doomed as a country with so many of you acting like this. Just say neo-nazis are bad. Just say ramming a car into a crowd of people is wrong. It's so basic and yet for some focked up reason you identify with or feel the need to protect the white supremacists.

Seriously, get ahold of yourselves. Immediately.

IF the "victims" are BLM or ANTIFA and they show up at a rally to cause trouble, then they get what they get. It's really not that difficult. NOT ONE person is protecting idiot supremacists or KKK members. That's you reading into it what you want to read. Now pull your head out of your arse and smell the flowers.

Saying both sides does not make you racist.

I think there is a time and place for such a conversation.

What makes him sound racist was the failure for the first 2 days to even say a bad thing about actual focking nazis.

Then to claim they were just peacefully protesting and that there were probably some good people with them.

When you have to preface the "Im not a racist" and then go into "but"...and lay more blame on the left than he did on those people who organized this idiotic rally in the first place? its going to sound bad.

When he takes less time to call out mcCain and Merck...and those that are not 100% lock step in support of him...than he does to call out actual Nazis. its going to look and sound bad.

Especially with a guy with a very questionable past when it comes to racism.

Where is it said that it was antifa and militant BLM that instigated this? Please link me to this.

I have shown videos of what was being done and said by the Nazi groups both on the night before the rally and the day of. How they reacted to UVA students that night...there are more videos out there of that too. Videos of that group pushing through the police line during the day.

and when a man spends most of his time complaining about the left or what he called the alt left...than he did talking about actual nazis.

When he has surrounded himself with people that are seen as white nationalists...when he has the past that Trump has with race...he does not get the benefit of the doubt.

As I said..many prominent members of his own party were calling him out on this...Fox even did at several points.

of course its a caveat...BLM, on its own, is not a violent organization.

That has been shown.

There are the fringe of it that has been called out for the fry like bacon...or anyone preaching violence against the police. or violence at all. Same with antifa.

hawker makes wild and bogus claims...he is a lying troll which is why you won't see me talk to him or quote him.

Start here...post a credible link to where BLM or Antifa instigated things.

Understand that the protests that happened over the weekend (the night before with the torches and the next day) were not peaceful protests. They were unite the right rallys set up by white supremacists.

There were no good people there showing up to march with them.

The woman killed...there is nothing out there saying she was a part of any radical part of BLM or antifa.

Quit with the both sides crap...I think most agree there are issues with both the far left and far right. This is not the time for that and that much should be obvious to anyone.

Start here...post a credible link to where BLM or Antifa instigated things.

Every single video of the event shows people fighting with bats and sticks and flags and helmet's and masks. It's not armed people fighting unarmed people, its a freaking melee with both sides participating armed and engaging. Are you trying to get into some semantics battle about what exactly does "instigate" mean? And which group "instigated" more.....do you want a focking pie chart? Okay fine.

Neo-Nazi idiots are 66.5% to blame for the raucous violence that day

Antifa / BLM are 33.5% to blame for the raucous violence that day

Is that better? Good grief.
