Dolphins / Bucs owners, who are you starting week 1?

Recommended Posts

Postponement of the Dolphins / Bucs game is screwing a lot of fantasy owners. Who is everyone starting in place of Ajayi, Evans, Parker, etc?

Forced to bench those 3 for Terrence West, Brandon Marshall, and Maclin, but I feel awful doing it :wall:

Related to Beckham being limited?

That and Marshall is always super competitive. Looking back the last two time he switched team, he always have a chip on his shoulder and done extremely well the first year.

Have both Evans and Parker with only one bench WR. Fock me.

Is Taylor Gabriel or Kendall Wright a better play this week?

I've got a couple shares of Winston and Evans. Evans doesn't bother me that much since I have other WRs to replace him or even a RB in the Flex spot. I rarely ever draft a back up QB so Winston is my only guy. Normally I wouldn't care that much but now I have to drop a player off my bench in order to grab a QB like Bradford. During the season it doesn't bother me as much because I usually know if a guy is worth keeping or not by then but right now who knows what guy to keep. Basically I just picked the guy who I thought would be available again next week on waivers when I dump Bradford.

just losing Parker in favor of Emmanuel Sanders

playing the Ajayi owner though and he's got to choose from Gore or Chris Hogan; that's much worse.

Gabriel.

Why? I've been going back and forth. Gabriel ended the season on a rampage, but he was still only averaging like 5 targets a game. He's probably the 3rd or 4th passing option on an offense that just changed coordinators. Gabriel made the most of his targets last year, but I'm worried that his efficiency isn't sustainable.

Wright will probably be the WR1 or WR2 on a lesser offense but one that will be playing from behind a lot. I'd say Glennon is pretty comparable to Hoyer, so I expect about the same numbers out of the passing attack. Bears WRs totaled about 24 targets a game last year, so I think it's fair to assume that Wright will get 7-10 a game. So, Wright is going to be on a less potent offense but probably get more targets.

LOL... I flipped a coin, it came up heads (Gabriel). Sorry.

Brandon Marshall for Mike Evans

Playing the Zeke owner. If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have none at all. :dunno:

Evans and Parker are my top 2 wr's in one league. Snead is my wr 3...

I get to roll out the fearsome due of Chris Hogan and Corey Coleman in week 1!

I have Evans, Parker, and Jacquizz (who I was 50/50 on starting). And I'm facing the Zeke owner.

Before: Evans, Parker vs. Stewart

Now: Gabriel, Tyrell Williams vs. Elliott

My outlook on my matchup did a complete 180 in a 24 hour span. On the bright side at least I'll have those guys available Week 11 and after when they're beat to for not having a bye

I am sadly losing both Jay Ajayi and Mike Evans this week :(

Luckily, I'm still decent at running back with Melvin Gordon and Isaiah Crowell... but my receivers are going to be god awful (Tyrell Williams, Corey Coleman, and Kevin White)

For my flex I'm stuck deciding between Mike Wallace, Duke Johnson, and Corey Davis. The joys of going STUDS and DUDS auction strategy :(

This week I would go with Wright.

I'm losing Winston this week. I drafted Rivers as his back up but this isn't the week to start him. Should I drop Rivers for Bradford? The only other player I would consider dropping from my roster is Jamaal Charles but I think he will get scooped up.

I have Keenan Allen and Melvin Gordon too which adds to the murky situation.

Welp, there's my first miss on the season. I grabbed both Alex Smith and Kizer as desperation plays...sat Smith last night. Figured Kizer would be the home run swing for the team very likely to lose.

As it is, I also had Hunt (and Kelce). My opp had Brady and the Pats D. So I'm up 30+ points after two players done for both teams. Would have been over 80 points with Smith in the game. Doh.

Well, my Kizer decision has at least gotten me a rushing TD in the first quarter. I think maybe I did dodge a bullet here. Watching the Browns/Steelers game, Kizer is passing the eye test. Taken a couple sacks from holding the ball too long, but he's not making bad decisions in general. Not taking the sack can lead to an INT for a young guy sometimes.
