IMMensaMind 459 Posted February 6, 2018 12:30 CST - Musk is launching a Red Tesla Roadster into space to orbit the Red Planet? Ok, goofball. https://spaceflightnow.com/2018/02/05/falcon-heavy-demo-flight-mission-status-center/

NorthernVike 2,080 Posted February 6, 2018 Anyone else find it funny that Musk can build a better rocket than little kim?
Kanil 519 Posted February 6, 2018 Read a quote where Musk said he'd be surprised if it reaches orbit. He'll consider it a win if it blows up far enough away from the launch pad to not damage it.
tanatastic 2,061 Posted February 6, 2018 This guy dreams too big and watches too many movies. None of this will work, none of his mars missions will succeed, no one will be sent to mars to live happily and drive Teslas or whatever else he has cooked up. We are grounded here until we can learn alien technology.

naomi 343 Posted February 6, 2018 That blew me away. Coolest thing ever. Is it real? I stumbled across the live feed on the Daily Mail. Went to submit some data entry and my work's system wasn't responding. Decided to wait it out rather than log back in and lose the work. Raised up the DM for the wait and managed to catch this at 1:45 to launch. That was incredibly cool. Had no idea about it. I think my work is lost but it's OK
Kanil 519 Posted February 6, 2018 Did the last booster land correctly ? Still no word. I'm guessing that means no. Hopefully a huge fireball explosion if so.
Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted February 6, 2018 The two side boosters landing simultaneously was awesome. No doubt. Left me wondering if they can figure that out, why are people still burning popcorn in the microwave.
NorthernVike 2,080 Posted February 6, 2018 Still no word. I'm guessing that means no. Hopefully a huge fireball explosion if so. I can understand the cameras on the ship being shaken to the point where they don't work but for focks sakes, they don't have another ship in the area recording the events? I'm calling the whole thing fake.

Bert 1,091 Posted February 6, 2018 Let him piss his money away on crappy car companies and rockets, it is a free country. It is a shame he couldn't stay focused on battery technology. He may have made an actual difference.
