edjr 5,585 Posted February 20, 2018 Charles is 100% a national treasure. you younger tykes, never had the pleasure of seeing Barkley play. Dude was great on the court and even greater off the court. had 33 rebounds in one game. and had some of the best one liners of all time. "I can be bought. If they paid me enough, I'd work for the klan." “I don't know anything about Angola, but I know they' re in trouble.” Here are some more. https://247sports.com/Player/80186/Quotes/When-I-was-recruited-at-Auburn-university-they-took-me-to-a-stri-35997302#quote

Mike Honcho 4,042 Posted February 20, 2018 Just prior to the opener of the 1997-98 season, Houston Rockets forward Charles Barkley was at a bar in Orlando when a 20-year-old man threw a cup of ice at him. Barkley responded by throwing said man out of a plate glass window. Charles stood in front of the judge. Judge: “Your sanctions are community service and a fine, do you have any regrets?” Charles: “Yeah I regret we weren’t on a higher floor.”

tanatastic 2,061 Posted February 20, 2018 Holy crap how can his swing be that bad? Tell me he doesn’t do that stutter every time. Tell me that’s just the extra bad ones and he knows that follow through is infinitely better.
edjr 5,585 Posted February 21, 2018 Holy crap how can his swing be that bad? Tell me he doesn’t do that stutter every time. Tell me that’s just the extra bad ones and he knows that follow through is infinitely better. He does. EVERY time. His practice swings and driving range are okay. Once he steps over the ball, for real. The hitch happens. 100% mental. Hank Haney couldn't even fix him It's actually sad. Dude just wants to have fun and golf, he is mostly retired.
