cmh6476 757 Posted March 13, 2018 Browns are winning!!! it's still John Dosey, his loyalty will get to a point where he holds onto aging players, paying them too much past their prime.
Cruzer 1,992 Posted March 13, 2018 Hey Cruzer tell me how much I'm gonna like this Anthony Hitchens Yea, wow - I just saw that this morning. Â Honestly, he's pretty solid. He's proven to be dependable, has some quickness and has made some plays for us...... But as bad as our LB situation is here, no way in hell I would of been happy paying him $9m a year... Hitch is never going to be a super star, never going to be "the man"... But in KC he doesn't have to be, in KC he can be a solid role player................ Expect him to run side to side and cover the field laterally, he is not one to get up field and rush the passer.

I think the Chiefs are doing what the Seahawks did under Wilson's rookie contract; found a QB who can play via the draft, and loaded up on free agents (possibly overpaying a bit) to take advantage of your young QBs cap friendly contract.  One of our weakest links last year was stopping the run, specifically at the ILB position. Hoping this signing shores up some of that.

In Dallas, he had absolutely no help up front - our DTs were no help whatsoever in getting lineman diverted and/or occupying blockers.

Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted March 13, 2018 You don't follow the Chiefs I see Not extremely close. Sammy hasn't done much in the NFL. Mahomes needs a more reliable receiver than Watkins.

MTSkiBum 1,594 Posted March 13, 2018 Not extremely close. Sammy hasn't done much in the NFL. Mahomes needs a more reliable receiver than Watkins. 1000 yards each of his first 2 years with crappy qb play.
listen2me 23 1,544 Posted March 13, 2018 Sammy is very talented. He was just always hurt in Buffalo. I don't think he is quite elite like his 4th overall pick suggests. But he certainly is a weapon. Hill and Watkins is a lot of speed

Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted March 13, 2018 Jordy is a downfield threat type player. So is Hogan. Remember, Edelman and Mitchell are back this coming year. Â Nelson is 33 and would be complementary player.
Cruzer 1,992 Posted March 13, 2018 Hell, I'd rather have a 33 year old Jordy than Dez - least he can catch.
Old School 360 Posted March 13, 2018 Packers sign Jimmy G and cut Jordy. I dont think that is a great move. Id rather have a banged up Jordy- even for the few games he will play.

Brady doesn't take advantage of what a guy like Jordy does. Funny after watching that super bowl and Blake Bortles taking them to the brink before that, a Pats fan thinks what they need is a WR. Hardcore troubadour 12,659 Posted March 13, 2018 They need lots of things - LT, DE, LB, CB, RB Funny then that you would be advocating for Jordy. Is it any wonder your entire fan base is called racist?

Odd that you did. Â I asked if he might be willing to make one more run at a championship and would take a fair pay.

Bier Meister 1,514 Posted March 13, 2018 free agency has been very fun this year, especially with the qb movement. Â i think watkins will do well in KC. he is further down the progressions and should draw "lesser" dbs

Gladiators 1,904 Posted March 13, 2018 I hope Joey signs for a reasonable contract. Cobb isnt a good #2. Adams can be a #1, but the concussion history raises a lot of concerns. Would like to see Jordy back for $5M per year and I would like to see another solid #2 added. I know it wont happen, but its fun to dream.
