Allen West floats secession after Supreme Court rejects Texas election challenge

Texas Republican Party Chairman Allen West suggested Friday that secession might be the answer for pro-Trump states.

“Perhaps law-abiding states should bond together and form a Union of states that will abide by the Constitution,” Mr. West said.

The Supreme Court announced Friday it won’t hear a lawsuit by the state of Texas that sought to overturn Democrat Joseph R. Biden’s victories in four swing states, dealing a massive blow to President Trump’s nearly extinguished prospects for a second term.

The high court said in a brief order that Texas “has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections.”

“All other pending motions are dismissed as moot,” the court said.

Mr. West said the Court’s decision means that states “can violate the U.S. Constitution and not be held accountable.”

“This decision will have far-reaching ramifications for the future of our constitutional republic,” Mr. West said.

This is really simple.  70 million voters feel they got cheated and have completely lost trust in the system.  If no adult steps up to calm things down, those voters are going to follow the most radical voice.  Missed opportunity by the SC to defuse the situation.

2.4But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

This is just the leftover Trump indoctrination. He could tell people to drink their own pee and Drobeski would be upside down beer bonging his piss within a day. No one will care in a few months just like no one really cares about the Russia stuff against Trump except on message boards.

Impossible.  Every time people try to stop caring, they put logos on the field and athletes wear slogan to remind white people they are racist.  Its now infecting most TV shows and films.  Renaming schools and monuments and parks.  Tearing down statues.  You can't get away from it.  If everyone tries to move on, they will learn that this level of attack is acceptable and push even harder, probably entering your home and making sure there are no racist imagery, checking your phone for racism.  Won't stop.

TV networks need to be forming a line to pitch offers to Trump to host his own show. He has a built in audience and can just talk mad chit every show and do his thing. Tell me it wouldn’t be a hit, even haters would watch.

70 million people do not feel they have been cheated.  A small % of knuckleheads do.  You are in that group.  The adults have spoken.

I check periodically for news on Russian military movements with regards to calls for secession in the US.  I doubt there will be anything, but you never know.  Even if there is, Russia likes to go undercover at first.  This Wiki page is pretty interesting in that regard, as the unmarked Russian troops in 2014 Ukraine were called "little green men" or "the polite people".

Its fascinating at a 30,000 foot level, watching the human race.  On one side, we clearly have the right sending signals they are about to revolt.  On the left, they are absolutely oblivious and just march ahead with an SJW agenda like sports team name changes that, while they seem innocuous, enflame tensions at the wrong moment in history.   I don't know how you avoid war when there is no attempt to recognize the problem even when its staring everyone in the face.

As I say, you don't know what the event will be that will finally trigger war.  Could be big or could be small.  Something is the last straw.  Could you imagine if the Cleveland Indians name change was the tiny little event that caused everything to boil over?

I mean, it HAS happened in history.

Chariot racing used to be a HUGE sport around 532 AD in Constantinople.  Fans of racing teams were extremely passionate and engaged in hooliganism.  Some of them got arrested and it wound up turning into a huge riot where 30,000 people got killed.

A stray dog once crossed a border and almost started a war between Greece and Bulgaria in 1925.

In 1828, there were riots in Mexico City and a pastry shop owned by a French expatriate got looted.  That wound up causing the King of France to declare war on Mexico which was fought for 2 years.

Election Lawyer Calls On Trump Supporters To Stock Up On 'Second Amendment Supplies'

The fringe right-wing lawyer who filed the court challenge to Donald Trump’s election loss in Georgia has called on the president’s supporters to stock up on “Second Amendment supplies” — presumably firearms and ammunition — to prepare for what he apparently envisions as an apocalyptic future.

“Our leader is Donald Trump, not Biden,” attorney Lin Wood tweeted Sunday.

“Make sure you have PLENTY of water, food, flashlights & batteries, candles, radio, 2nd Amendment supplies, & a plan to meet with leaders of your communities,” he urged. He included a photo of Trump with the caption: “I’m still your president.”

A reporter for the right-wing Newsmax site piped up in a tweet that when “Lin Wood tells people to prep, I listen.”

Wood has called on Trump to declare martial law in a bid to wrest the White House from the electorate. The lawyer’s theory is that Americans working with Venezuela, China, Serbia, Canada, Venezuela, Cuba, the CIA, billionaire philanthropist George Soros, the Clinton Foundation, and state and local officials from both parties rigged the presidential election.

Wood has filed several lawsuits challenging Joe Biden’s win, including one in his home state of Georgia, which was touted by Trump before it went down to defeat.

Wood said at a press conference earlier this month that Trump called to tell the attorney “he knows he won this election.” The president said, ‘Lin, I didn’t lose it. I won it,’” Wood recounted.

Several Twitter followers mocked Wood’s call to stock up for an armageddon, with one checking on vodka stores and another urging people to get marshmallows for s’mores.

Others heard a call to arms. One wondered when the FBI would show up at Wood’s door to question him about instigating violence,

So now changing the names of professional sports teams is going to be the catalyst for a civil war? I thought the lack of trust in institutions was the problem. Now it's rebranding the Indians? Why didn't the Redskins changing names spark a war? I mean, what if I'm offended that the Browns are named after poop or the Texans are named after Texans? Yankee is a derogatory term for northerners! Don't even get me started on the Celtics! Bunch of pagans! And seriously, the Wizards? Sounds like they're promoting a bunch of witchcraft to me!
