jerryskids 5,206 Posted June 21, 2019 That's a great question and possibly a business opportunity! I'm sure they've thought of it tho. Probably a concern around liability combined with the gambling commission not liking kids in the casinos in any form.

Don't be silly, I wouldn't be working, I'd be gambling, some 15 year olds would be babysitting. This would work for bars too!
BiffTannen 651 Posted June 21, 2019 Depending on how old the kids are, I doubt parents want them going to school or to the grandparents house and innocently telling a story that starts with, "I was playing with these other kids while daddy was on a heater at the tables."
Strike 3,978 Posted June 21, 2019 When I was a kid my parents called it "Circus Circus". Here, young Strike, here is $5.00. Go play carnival games on the 2nd floor while we play adult games down here.

That's money he can't spend on Monique for a lap dance. He's just going to leave them in the car. And if it's hot out he'll crack the window. You actually want him to waste his welfare check on daycare?

BiffTannen 651 Posted June 21, 2019 Do many people even drive to the casino and drive home? In Vegas anyways I would imagine 90% or more are there on a trip and will just be stumbling back up to the room with no driving involved until they go back to the airport.

Called Encore in Everett. the rooms are 800 a night. I live 30 min drive from the casino. I would never drop my kid off at a strange daycare to gamble, but I know a lot of people would. And if you only live 30 minutes away why wouldn't you get a babysitter to come to your home?

We rented a cabana at Encore in Vegas last year as part of my main FF league's 25th anniversary "Hangover-esque" party last August. Which a lot of guys brought their women to anyway. frank 2,145 Posted June 21, 2019 The Margaritaville hotel in Biloxi does not have a casino, but it has a big video game arcade and a waterslide and pool on the roof. It is walking distance from three casinos. I bet a lot of parents leave their kids there. You have to be a hotel guest to get to the roof.
BiPolarBear 476 Posted June 21, 2019 There have been 24 hour a day kid drop off businesses in Las Vegas for many decades. The last thing a casino wants is to get into baby watching while they have to watch for cheats and holdups.

I will admit I’ve graced few prostitutes with my presence. My problem was I would always ask them to if they wanted to get some drinks and a few ripper magoos before we started the timer, because I prefer to be good and focked up. No hooker ever turns down free booze and cocaine even if it means clocking out for a couple hours. Sometimes I would get way too focked up and make some not so bright decisions. Most days I look down at my diick and I’m thankful I don’t have foot or something growing out of the side of it considering some of the ladies I threw it in.
titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted June 22, 2019 The casinos in tunica Ms used to gave a kids center. Like an arcade sort of thing. We'd hang there while dad played sometimes.

joeshushu 51 Posted June 24, 2019 My sister and I were placed into a daycare like facility years ago in Reno while my parents gambled. We thought this ain’t too bad when we walked into a room with pinball and movie theater. However, this section was for the older kids and we were moved to a different part of the facility for younger kids. We only had a few games, a television set and a ping pong table. When my parents picked us up my sister and I were watching Carson.
