I will agree that part of this is a perfect metaphor for the current state but it has nothing to do with labeling the speech and has everything to do with the mind set that some would rather see something bad happen that negatively impacts the POTUS and by virtue our country than see a united front on this day, nope, they sit and wish for bad things to happen soley so they can scream Orange Man bad, not matter the negative impact.

Even Megla realizes that. That's why he won't take my bet. US presidents use the 4th of July platform to sing the praises of this great country. To speak to all of its citizens, not just the 40% who worship him.  When he's using his donations to hold his hate rallies, that's his business. I've personally been around M1A2 tanks more than likely the entire board combined. I mean, it's been a while but I saw them every workday, I ordered repair parts for them, I rode in them. I saw first hand what they do to Iraqi WWII era tanks. I don't rightly recall the concrete in the motor pool or along the roads being particularly bad. It's a special event and tanks are cool even to someone as desensitized to them as I was/am. Complaining about the roads is like throwing a tantrum at a NASCAR race over the waste of gas.

Nothing will happen to the focking roads. If you want to see a lion, you can almost only do that by going to a zoo and if you want to see a tank, if you're in DC on the 4th,  you can go to a parade.
