I missed the part where you included when this has been done in American History? When has the House Intel Committee ever done anything in regard to impeachment?

A lot of what happens in D.C. bothers me.   Politics is a dirty business and has been for a century.

However, and to be fair, I don't even know what you just typed is contextually true.  I don't know if the whole Russia thing is true.  Did that old crazy lady really get felt up by Kavenaugh (sp) 30 years ago?  No clue.  It just seems like every other week some "conspiracy" is on CNN and I'm supposed to care.  Meanwhile 9 times out of 10,  actually its been 10 times out of 10, it results in a nothing burger.

Honestly, I say no, because:

1.   Biden isn’t really his political rival/opponent.  

2.  The Bidens were involved in some suspicious sh!t over there.  They left themselves open to suspicion and they don’t get a pass just because daddy Biden is attempting a run at the dem nomination.

Yeah. That's pretty much where im at. I loathe Trump. I also think he's getting more and more unstable. I don't like the idea of a guy that old and unstable being president (and yes, that includes hillary, Bernie, Biden, etc.)

All the dems had to do was find some reasonably palatable alternative. A nice moderate. They failed. Big time. And frankly, their conduct over the last four years has been shameless.

The democrats have managed to make themselves more unpalatable to me than Donald focking Trump. Never saw that coming.

It's a fair question, so I will give you an 100% honest answer.  I am not sure.  

I was out of the country for two weeks when most of this Ukraine stuff was going on so I do not know all the in's and out's....what's real and what's spin.   Is what you said in the original question an "Impeachable offense"?  I don't know....is it?  Even if true....is it?   Maybe so, I am not an expert on that stuff.  

What I do know is that after the past two and half years I'm gonna need a smoking gun.  Until then I am just numb to all this conspiracy stuff.   To be honest, I wouldn't put past Donald Trump to say or do anything that he felt was best for him (or the country) even if "against the rules" (figure of speech).  

However what I don't like or what makes me even more numb to all this is secret, behind closed doors interviews with un-named sources who then go and speak to the press.  I don't get warm and fuzzies reading that stuff.  

So again, I'll need a smoking gun. Based on previous conspiracies that won't happen but if that happens, I'm on the #YangGang2020

Its pretty obvious that the Republican Senate, lead by Mitch the Biitch, will vote to remove Trump from office. As I understand they wanted to vote on impeachment before thanksgiving but they’re not going to be in a position to do so due to the administration refusing to cooperate (that’s not spin, the White House flat out said they wouldn’t cooperate). 

I do think they’ll try to have it done by the end of the year. They need documents from the White House and probably tapes as well assuming tapes of those calls exist. But by the same token they really should kick it over to the senate by the end of the year and I think they want to.

I think part of the plan is to kick it to the senate, watch the senate acquit sometime next year, then campaign against the republican senators that they voted to acquit.

I'm with ksb. If he's guilty, impeach him. But at this point, I'm gonna need some absolutely rock solid evidence. I haven't seen anything close yet, but then, I'm not really following either.

Last week you posted that the administration had confessed to everything.  If that is the case they could vote now.  Do you still cling to the assertion that they've confessed?  You've ignored that point the last few days.  I wonder why.......

The July 25 summary is by far the closest thing yet. That and Mulvaney’s acknowledgment there was quid pro quo (which he tried to walk back after that trial balloon was promptly shot down).
