CA Governor Newsom went into quarantine during Thanksgiving; claiming that his kids were exposed. He's going into quarantine again during Christmas and New Years because he claims he was exposed by someone in his office. 

Convienent that he's quarantined over the holidays and doesn't have to make his usual daily TV appearances. I would bet money he's on vacation at his home in Montana.

It’s sad really. I honestly believe gen X is the last generation to achieve success through hard work. I graduated a state university with a degree in the sciences with little debt. Now my kids to get that same degree costs 15x what I paid. Then when they get out they will be in debt making say 70k a year with much higher taxes and crazy inflation. inflation. These Covid stimulus checks are no good and will hurt us in the long run. 
 

im in the top 5% now and know my kids will have a very difficult time achieving the standard of living I have.

It’s fair to be concerned about potential side effects of the vaccine.   But all signs point to that it works as far as preventing covid in the first place and if you happen to get it, preventing serious illness.

Yes, every day.  Some schools in the area had short periods of virtual learning due to spikes in positive cases.  Many of the schools in my area have been open the majority of the year.  It's different everywhere.

I don't like them.  I agree that they have done more harm than good.  Our governor can't stick with one plan and changes the mandate weekly it seems.  For the most part we have been more open than most other states.
