They’re saying “you can take the jab” at certain ages because as you get older the risk from Covid (not from the vaccine) increases, so it still changes the risk/benefit calculation.   Yes there is some risk to the vaccine, but it’s extremely low.

Well I’ve been saying that pretty much since April 2021 when the first myocarditis reports came out and not much has changed in regards to the vaccine’s safety.   I would however now bump up the age where the risk/benefit becomes clear due to the amount of natural immunity people have and the presence of Omicron.
