OK, that doesn't seem relevant to what I posted though.   It says they offered to send people there to help, however Trump was very supportive of the Chinese government's response early on.

It really is amazing the difference a year makes along with a D or R next to a person's name. The media and other politicians lambasted Trump for months for spreading the china lab conspiracy theory. People were banned on social media and the left-leaning posters here laughed whenever it was brought up. But now, not only is it most likely but some are even suggesting Biden said it first and championed the lap leak theory.

It truly is amazing and just another example as to why the country is in such a sorry state.

"The risk of being affected is very small." It needs to fockin be ZERO. Its the heart. One of the last things you want to be focking around with. I really do not get the logic of any healthy person taking this risk. If I lived is a sh1t state like CA or NY, I would be making a b-line for FL.

All for a virus where the risk of dying is VERY SMALL...like less than 0.2% an most of those are obese or have multiple comorbidities and even then would be alive had they listened to the doctors that know what they are doing with early treatment.

That’s why I, along with a lot of other healthcare providers, don’t support vaccine mandates. When ppl try to compare the covid vaccine with other vaccines we have to remind them that those vaccines had DECADES of trial and error to make sure they were not only effective but also safe. THOSE no one has a problem getting because they performed due diligence on them. This vaccine was rushed and hasn’t had the same type of testing and quality controls on it. Add to the fact that it doesn’t stop you from getting it or spreading it. Ten years from now it will be a different case because it will have went through all the proper testing and studies done on it

Update$#@!  My Covid test was negative, crisis averted.

Also my wife has no symptoms.  She is getting tested today so hopefully by tomorrow she'll be banging all of you Geeks again.   

I did ask my oncologist about Regeneron (monoclonal antibodies) and given that I was getting the test the next day and had no symptoms, he suggested we wait on the test before he threw me over the fence to their infectious disease department.  Since the ingredients in Regeneron are similar in name to Keytruda which I'm currently on (they all end in "imab"), my internet doctor wannabee guess is that they may have some similarities which should be considered before giving me the cocktail.

Which also makes me wonder if the Keytruda immunotherapy for my cancer gives me some super powers against Covid.
