We don't wear masks in Texas for the most part.

Hospitals and flying are the only 2 places you need one.

Possibly some government buildings like dmv, I have not been to verify.

I wish I did.  Unfortunately, I live down south.  I used to work in Broomfield which is up north but it's a little west of Westminster and most of the places we used to eat were just chains anyways.  Westminster is a great area though so good for your brother.

Him living there is great for me. Cheap flights between Houston/Denver, he will pick me up/drop me off at the airport and he is only 45 minutes from Loveland ski area and less than an hour away from a few others.

Wynkoop Brewery - In downtown Denver.  Was a brothel in the old west and is now a microbrewery/pool haul/restaurant.

Rattlesnake and rocky mountain oysters at the buckhorn. I will have to remember that.

 

My other brother is driving down from Wyoming and he likes to think of himself as a butcher. He has some 6 week old dry aged steaks he wants us to try. I am hesitant since he is aging them himself, but he assured me it is safe. So we will not be eating at a steakhouse this time. 

In the future though that looks good.

They do smoked meats.  The smoked wings are phenomenal.  Not too far away in Broomfield.

I did find my mask, I hate when other people do not post updates and I did not want to leave the geek club in suspense.

 

This is my first time flying since the summer and masks in the airport are mandatory again. I am not sure what they would do if someone was not wearing a mask, because everyone is.........

 

Except, I am sitting at a bar in a restaurant. Masks are not required here.

Thank God for that.

 

I am flying a few times this winter and as someone with young kids it is nice getting to the airport early and have some drinks at the bar. I can count on one hand the number of times I get mixed drinks per year.

 

Drinking at a bar is special occasion for me and not a regular occurrence so I find it nice.
