Has anyone mentioned that their brains are two cubic inches smaller on average or are we still pretending its socio economic factors + fatherless homes?

While that may be true for some it is not true for all.  There are some who are working multiple jobs to make ends meet.  It's very likely those parents had sh1tty lives going up as well.  Without a decent education they were unable find a career and stuck with low paying jobs.  Now they are raising kids in a similar situation.  It's basically a cycle.

Its only a cycle because of sh!tty dem policies keeping their foot on the throats of poor blacks just to keep votes.

Are reps never in charge of doing anything then?  All I ever hear is how the dems are to blame. You’d think the dems are the only ones ever in charge of making policies.

Spot on, you see it all the time. Liberals truly believe black folks don't have the ability to succeed on their own accord. They are by far the most racist people in our society.

Nobody wants to have an actual conversation about systemic racism... Look at Democratic policy, that's where it starts. Keep them on the government teet with barely enough to make ends meet, brought directly to you by the current Democratic presidential nominee.

Pretty much every major metropolitan area in the US is under democratic control and has been forever. Even in red states.

My home state of Tennessee is pretty damn red. Historically there are two major areas of Democrat control. Memphis, which is majority black and thus Democrat. And Nashville. A Democrat has held the seat in congress in Nashville since Andrew Jackson first won it about 200 years ago. Now Nashville is the "hot new city" and is flooded with former Californians and such.

Its pretty much the same in every state.

Being raised by both parents who remained married.  Being able to go to private schools.  Having tutors available for studying.  Having numerous organized activities available.  Having parents pay for all of your stuff growing up.

These are all privileges that people enjoy that many others do not get to.  There's nothing wrong with having them but I think it's important to acknowledge how lucky it is to have them.

And what if you don't have these things, BUT are still white?  Then what?

F*cking stupid.  STUPID.  STUPID.. STUPID.

Aren't the majority of major cities run by democrats though?  Doesn't that obviously skew the numbers in their direction.  I believe 35 of the 50 largest cities are run by democrats and only 13 are by republicans.

Why don’t you name the successful Cities that have been run by Democrats for decades. I gave you 10 losers.

Nope, not what I said.  Why is it that I get called out by Baker Boy for posting a question like this yesterday but it's perfectly fine for everyone else?

All I was doing was putting things in better context.  Do we have a list of who the wealthiest cities are run by for comparison?

35-13 is a big enough spread to draw a logic based conclusion.

What is the criteria that people are using to make the comparisons?  Is it wealth per capita?  Is it the wealthiest of the top 50 or 100 largest cities?  I'm not saying Baker Boy's post was false, I'm just curious how that compares overall or is it just another article that show just enough to make someone's point?  We all know data can be used to support one's opinion.

It’s not black vs white. It’s liberalism vs normal people. If black conservatives were running those cities I wager things would be much better.

Here are the top 25 wealthiest cities in the US according this USA Today article. https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2019/05/19/25-richest-cities-in-america/39483221/

I believe many of these cities are democrat run.  I'm only asking these questions to see if a cities reason for being wealthy or poor is because of it being republican or democrat run.

This is a study of average income and cost of living is not factored in. It is a good article but very deceptive and does not relate to what we are talking about.

The cities I listed were % of the population below the poverty level. They were also run by Democrats for decades.

I was replying to your question:  “are Democrats the only ones making decisions”.

Democrats controlled BOTH house from 1955 until 1980 (26 years).

From 1981 until 1987 the Republicans controlled the Senate and the Democrats the House.

Democrats recaptured both houses in 87 and held them until 95 when the Republicans took both houses and held them until 2005.

If I pull a karen and ask to speak the person in charge...they are usually of my race. 🚫

Many examples we dont even realize...from how music is organized...to how grocery stores are set up.

Remember when someone asked if there was an MLK street in your town and would you go there at night?

Growing up poor, I missed out on 95% of white privilege and I believe moving to China has wrung even these last few drops out of me.

One advantage I do have teaching English overseas is I pronounce everything with an industrial midwest accent, I don't stumble over vocabulary or context and I instinctively know all the grammar.

My daughter is usually pretty smart, but since she's in college she thinks she knows how everything works.  She b1tched at me when I called covid China virus.  If she ever starts parroting crap about my white privilege I will gladly offer to stop helping her pay tuition as that's an example of her "privilege".  Will be interesting to see how strongly she sticks to her convictions then.

I was thinking about how the people who say they lived a privileged life are spitting in the face of their parents. Their parents worked hard so their kid could have a better life and these focktards think it was privilege.

So stupid

I asked similar same question to my younger cousin and his gay (it's why I phrased my question the way I did), friend.  Both of those two are Dems... borderline socialists.  It was classic!  I asked them:  "Let's assume that Trump get's to appoint a whole new Supreme Court... all 9.  Would you be ok if he appointed 9 people who were either homosexual and/or minorities even if they were conservatives?"  Their answer was "Yes".  I then said, "What if Biden won and had the same chance but chose 9 straight white men who were all hard core liberals, would you be ok with that?"  They both answered "No".

I looked at them and said, "so you're judging people by the color of their skin and not the content of their character?"  Everyone around us laughed... except them two (and the gay kids parents who were also Dems).  My younger cousin asked what was so funny.  I looked straight in his eyes and said, Martin Luther King Jr was killed fighting FOR the exact same thing you're fighting against.  They had a deer in the headlights look on their faces.  All 4 of them.

All you have to do round here is read a few posts from our liberals. It’s either about making themselves feel good or you feel bad.   Because deep down they are miserable. Does Newbie seem like a happy guy?

This is the second time in the thread that growing up in a two-parent household has been mentioned as a component of white privilege and it irks me. Now, I can feel sympathy for the plight of the one parent household. But since it was the other family's dad that ducked out on his duties, I absolutely refuse to accept responsibility for it or be browbeaten into feeling shame over the matter.

I just checked Wikipedia to see if the old Aesop's fable of The Grasshopper And The Ant was now regarded as being racist. Not necessarily, but the tale has been recast many times since the 18th century and usually in a more favorable light for the Grasshopper and a less favorable one for the Ant.

Hell, around half of the white kids in grew up with had parents divorce, myself included.

I love how whitey gets grief for something we have absolutely nothing to do with. It's not our fault you bred badly. And often.

Sure. As it worked out, I had three parents supporting me.

But my point is... How the hell is that our fault? Did I miss a trend where white guys go around knocking up black chicks and noping out on the obligation?

And it's not like black dudes make much secret of the fact that they're not gonna stick around, based on music and movies and such.

Just another case of the AA community trying to turn their abject failure into some systemic white privilege.
