The band Live has a song about this area of PA. The song is called ShLt Towne. I lived there for a year and can confirm. It is a shlt town. I would always stay away from these areas in south central PA. Horrible horrible place. Crime, corruption, drugs is a way of life.

Surprised it took Lancaster PA so long to blow up. I though for sure it would have been one of the first. Lots of statues. Founding fathers, one of their first meeting sites was near Lancaster.

I have so many crazy stories from this area and I was only there a year. One of my favorites, I saw a new business opening in a strip mall. I was like wow, this is a refreshing sight. Turned out to be snowball business. Or the old Saturn dealership turned into a church that still had Saturn signs. I was making fun of it with a neighbor. Felt bad after because he said he goes there.
