When this is all over and Trump is a one term president and ancient memory, his downfall won't because of his collusion attempts with foreign countries. And it won't be because of how many americans he killed with his coronavirus mishandling. It'll be because he never made an attempt to gain a single new voter aside from the ones who voted for him in 2016.  I know he's got low intelligence, but I'd assume he have some project management experience from his construction companies. How did he not have a plan to expand the base?   I think if he had ever acted sympathetic to african americans or immigrants, he was fearful that his white supremacist followers would get mad at him.  It makes no sense that he thought he could win reelection with the same number of votes.

Neither has much impact on me other than the tax cuts. If my taxes go up again it doesn't hurt me just the local economy. I immediately cut out discretionary spending out of spite. I stop eating out, doing large home projects, taking vacations and leaving tips. All gone. I was planning on getting a new pool and patio but that will get cancelled .

While I agree that Republicans will accept the results of the election, I wouldn't be too sure that the rioting will stop if Biden wins. The mob has seen what it can do en masse. You aren't getting that genie back into the bottle. 

The second Biden/Harris don't fulfill their end of the bargain, I fully expect to see the mob back in action. The left has showed that they lack the bawls to put down the uprising. They've lost control of their beast. It will turn on them in a heartbeat if the free stuff doesn't start falling from the sky or guns aren't immediately confiscated or any number of other things the beast wants.

Not sure I agree.  I think that Harris was good enough in the debate for people near the center with TDS to say “OK, I could live with that I suppose when Biden bows out, anything but OMB.”

On the other side, I think Pence showed a fantastic rational, calming influence that might impact similar people to say “hmm, there is an adult on the ticket, maybe he’ll get more influence this term as Trump gets older and sees the finish line.”

Our country is run by bat shlt crazy but China is on a whole other level. George Floyd incidents over there are a daily routine with no protests. Not a word. I spent a couple of decades in combat units, retired but never owned a gun. Looking at a couple now. Didn't want to do it but it's time. My city is about to pass Chicago in population and I have no faith in local government anymore of keeping the peace.

I've always liked Pence more than I liked Trump in terms of character and think he has a great stage presence. Unfortunately, I don't vote based on stuff like that.
