As I’ve consistently said, I don’t want everyone to vote.  Free speech is a right but with it comes the responsibility to not yell “fire” in a crowded theater.  Similarly, voting is a right but with it comes the responsibility to have some modicum of an idea what you are voting for, and to not just vote for free stuff.  Shotgun blasting tens of millions of ballots into the country, best case, just adds a whole lot more of the people I’d like to exclude.  As Ben Franklin said, “when the people learn that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.”

That’s best case.  The sheer volume of this idiotic policy of sending out unsolicited ballots inevitable leads to votes from dead people and former residents, not to mention ballot harvesting on a large scale.

Well, think of a person you know of "average" intelligence....half the people in the world are dumber than that person, so yeah, I get that discomfort with having dumb ass people vote.

Some are simply easily manipulated, on both the left and right.  Many people have some firm/hard beliefs that they want stroked, and politicians are good at stroking.

So you end up with a career liar like a Biden, who is clearly immersed in the total corruption that politics affords the morally malleable. The  MSM parrots the virtue signaling toddlers, and wala....

It's about how much fraud is needed to win. They thought Clinton would sweep an easy win on Trump, and vastly over-drank their own kool-aid.
They did the same with Biden, thinking he would get an electoral sweep in a lot of states; they fully planned some fraud (it's a dem playbook for decades at the county level; research stuffing ballot boxes at low-level elections), but they didn't plan to have to flip millions of votes and half a dozen states that were supposed to be solid blue strongholds (e.g. MI, WI).
So when Biden underperformed everywhere, and Trump overperformed every 2016 metric on the table, and it was a clear and obvious Trump landslide, the left power-machine went into overdrive in abject fear and panic, and decided to commit literal treason and millions-of-fake-votes fraud against the Republic in a desperate last-chance bid to seize power.
And they did.
They won. They literally defied all statistical possibility and 'stole' the Presidential election, by fabricating untold hundreds of thousands of ballots in several key states during a brief 2-3 hour window in the middle of the night on a work night for the sleeping masses.
When folks went to bed, it was a clear trump dunk. When they woke up, groggy eyed and under-rested in 3 hours for work, BIDEN WINS EVERYTHING BY YUGE MARGINS :^)

It's so patently absurd in every way; anyone with an IQ above 90 and any sort of self awareness knows what happened; it's all just become so "Us vs them" that people are *willing* to give up the Republic as long as "bad man loses"
