Don't get me wrong. Joe Biden standing by himself or with his family without a mask in front of the Lincoln Memorial is perfectly fine.  Good Grief, he is outside and not in a large gathering.  However the fact that it was right after he signed his own XO to wear a mask on all federal lands not to mention the last year we went through where we heard it was killing people because Trump didn't wear a mask is just gold.  These people have no shame.

I am unsure what the below link means to our domestic oil and gas industry. I have access to our federal permit data, but to be honest I currently have no idea how far out wells are leased. Do they lease them 6 months out, 2 years out, 5 years out? I will know early next week when i have time to investigate. Unless I can find a news source that does it faster than that.

It's something of a win in some ways.

These people will migrate here no matter what, because they know what millions of people here have forgotten, this is the best nation in the history of the world (for now).  Since they are coming no matter what lets get them on the tax roles please, so they can pay for the stuff they enjoy like the rest of us.

These people will fill roles at the lower rungs of labor happily, without crying like little b!tches, as we see with some other minority groups.  Inexpensive labor that gives needed production.

The real problem here will be in disproportionate harm they will cause to the AA community.  These people are industrious as hell, and they push their kids to be so, notably in school.  THis group is going to take many jobs, start enjoying alot of success pretty quickly.

Maybe I am the only one that cares, but I found some more information out. It seems that Biden's ban on Federal gas leases will not have much of an effect because they lease out far enough that they can wait until the next republican takes office. Thankfully Trumps team thought ahead on this issue. Maybe they planned for Biden to put this ban in place.

 

The Trump administration issued nearly 5,000 new federal oil and gas leases covering nearly 10 million acres between 2017 and 2019. As oil and gas leases typically last 10 years (and can be further extended beyond that), companies holding those already issued leases can develop them as late as 2029, even if new leasing ended today. Since oil and gas companies typically do wait until near the end of that 10-year period before producing from those leases, any change in leasing policy today wouldn’t have much effect on federal oil and gas production until nearly a decade into the future.
