Picadillo for lunch

Baos for dinner.

My Father in law grew up in mexico and my mother in law in Indonesia. The picadillo is just average and i am unsure why they cook it on Christmas, however homemade baos are really good.

Your mom's favorite Christmas meal is a healthy serving of my schlong followed by copious amounts of my "gravy".

Homemade pizza pizza pizza tomorrow night (boys requested pepperoni jalapeno' popper).  Christmas day will be Filet Mignon, seared scallops and a salad.

Just restocked the liquor cabinet so all is well.

Also had a Christmas miracle last night.  Mother in law was supposed to stay for a few days and she cancelled.   🌲

Porterhouse steaks from the local farm. (my wife and kids like the filet side. My MIL and I prefer the strip)

Loaded baked potatoes.

Asparagus

Spinach Artichoke Dip

Fruit and Cheese - Aged Gouda, Sharp Provolone, Parmesan, Melons, Grapes, etc.

Not sure what the wife will make for dessert.

We normally do prime rib.

This year we're doing: Texas smoked brisket, tamales, charro beans, rice, sopa de fideo.

Irish Breakfast in the morning, Prime Rib for dinner.  Then I’m going to go to McDonalds for some ice cream. I don’t know if they’ll be open but maybe I can find one that is. Figure I’ll go to 5-6 of them. If they aren’t I’ll get up the next day and get some while they are serving breakfast. I’m lovin it.

Update:  My MIL is making bacon buns, I'm adding Texas toast and my wife is making a cream cheese fruit tart.  That should provide plenty of sugar and carbs to fuel my afternoon nap.

They'll be open, but they all lie about the ice cream machine being on the fritz.  Merry Christmas!

Got a bucket of KFC last night.  It’s like crack to me.  Thankfully I eat it once a year, maybe.
