you know the british isles were invaded like 5-6 times over 2000 years.  the earliest inhabitants were the britons.  the romans came in and conquered them and built london.  then the romans left.  they hired german tribes to protect them from vikings.  the germans decided they liked the place and invaded with their women and children.  they were angles and saxons.  they pushed the britons westward.  the angle name for foriegner was "welsh".  the britons established a land called wales in the west and became known as welsh.  the norse invaded but got driven back but it made england weak.  then in 1066 the place got conquered by a french duke from normandy.  his group almost completely obliterated the culture but it bounced back.  then there were several invasion attempts after that which failed including the nazis.  now it seems increasing waves of african and arab refugees are swarming them.

I really hope that you are right but the Dems are pulling out all the stops.  If the filibuster goes I do not see a recovery for GOP for a long time.  The Dems will do all the things we tried to warn people they would do before the last election.  Politically I am pretty much a "Glass is mostly empty" type person right now.

My plan has been to make as much and bank as much as I can without  sacrificing my standard of living because we all may need to retire somewhere else..

Actually, the districts are set by the state legislature. They put more polling places in rural areas than in urban areas. These laws are designed to do one thing: make it harder for people who generally vote for Democrats to cast a ballot. There’s no question about this whatsoever. The Sunday voting thing is just further proof of that. Are votes cast on a Sunday more fraudulent than votes cast on other days? Of course not. It’s simply a popular day for people that typically pick Democrats to vote.

I think we should have national standards. Enough with some states all changing their election laws every time they don’t like the outcome of the latest one. Every single citizen 18 and older should have equal access at the polls. Having no lines in a white neighborhood and 5-hour lines in a black neighborhood is NOT equal, and it is clearly and obviously intentional. The “no food or water allowed in line” is just the final kick in the nuts. Screw these guys. How about doing something that people like so they will vote for you instead of trying to keep them from voting?

Either you choose not to see, or don't accept issues that have been presented.  See ACLU oppose voter ID legislation fact sheet.  As a line there says, Voter ID laws deprive many voters of their right to vote.  If this could be addressed, by getting people currently without IDs an ID that isn't a hurdle like the ones presented in that page, I would back it.  As it also says on that page, in person fraud is quite rare.

If it's rare then there should be be a problem with needing an id.

If a person doesn't have an ID they have much MUCH bigger problems than being able to vote.

I'm sure there are outliers to every rule but there can't be more than a hand full of people out there who want to vote and don't have an id for some strange reason AND can't use any of the other means available AND can't figure it out in time in order to vote.

This should be a 100% common sense issue. Democrats fighting this tells me there is way more fraud than anyone let's in.
