We will likely never know the true details of WW3.  we will never be able to confirm who nuked whom first, or what was going on.  for us, WW3 is likely to start with a massive cyberattack where russia tries to take down our internet and cell phone networks, so we just lose communications.  no more geek club.  then the bombs come in.  at this point, just try to keep your family safe.

I don't think that makes sense.  The US response would be immediate the second a single missile would be heading toward the US.  We wouldn't wait until a hypothetical missile hits.  We'd detect the incoming missiles and fire our own.  Russia's and US's missiles would pass each other in the air. 

Not to mention we'd shoot down a bunch.

If so, I would argue that Biden is actually doing something right by telling Putin if he nukes Ukraine we're going to war.  The brinkmanship game is about convincing the other guy that you aren't bluffing... That's why people keep trying to say no one is bluffing.  

In reality, if Russia does nuke Ukraine, the more likely outcome is we don't so sh¡t accept cut Russia off financially from the rest of the world.  I don't even think China and India would be onboard with that, and Putin has to know that.

And... scene.  Russia can't even nuke little ole Ukraine without China's backing
