It's a valid question.  If he knowingly violated the law then of course the DOJ is on the job to ensure accountability, Trump does not enjoy the protections afforded to the Clintons or the Bidens. So we really have nothing to worry about here.

Now, this special master thing is a pretty big problem for the DOJ.  Chances are most of these documents are integral to proving the DOJ was fully complicit in the Russian Collusion hoax, hence their clear desperation to get the stuff.  That means that it could be true that these things are revealed because of the DOJ overreaction. And their collusion to usurp an elected president is put on full display anyway...

It would not shock me if some of these things are suddenly "missing".....

These people in power are supposed to be checked by the media, and hopefully entities like the DOJ. Instead they are political activists. 

The main problem I have with their activism is that is it allowing really powerful people to be corrupt without a check, the fact that this is benefitting Democrats more so than Republicans should not be the issue.  We should object to the ongoing allowance for corruption and the complicity of the DOJ in particular.

Regarding the link I just posted:  I like Barr and think he is about the best source of neutral info on Trump these days, since he has also said some things in support of Trump recently (although you won't hear that in the MSM).  It seems that his objection is that the basis of potential charges is independent of the content -- he had classified docs, and he shouldn't have.  This is a little different than Napolitano's assertion that they'll go after National Defense Info (vs. classified) to gitim because that avoids the messy "POTUS can declassify things" argument.  But if they go NDI, that seems to justify an objective special master to determine just how NDI the info is.  Very confusing.
