So going forward every time a bad call is made the fans should throw shitt on the field to delay the game and give officials the opportunity to see the replay on the scoreboard and overturn the call?

Great precedent they just set. 👍

I have $100 on Indiana at +50000 to win it all...$150 at +3400 just to make the playoffs.

Army vs. Notre Dame Saturday night Yankee Stadium.  200  bucks for the upper deck. GTFO.

Those expensive seats being empty behind homeplate during the playoffs really tells the tale. I really wish people would stop going to anything to do with ticketmaster.

ASU hosts BYU this weekend -- I looked at tickets and they were all $200+.  Word is that it is the most expensive event ever at Sun Devil Stadium, including past Super Bowls (albeit in the 90s).  There are a ton of LDS folks here (second only to Utah I believe) who root for BYU like Catholics root for ND.

Amazingly, with two games left in the regular season (also Arizona rivalry match Thanksgiving weekend), ASU controls their own destiny.  If they win out, they make the Big 12 championship game.

As a side note, I think it would be great if the Big 12 champ game has two former PAC 12 (Colorado being the other), or one and BYU, in it.  No traditional Big 12 teams.

NFL Cardinals also control their own destiny, although it's much earlier in that season.  If you had told me in September that both these things would be true in late November, I'd have said "bartender, I'll have what he's drinking!"

At least 1k for a family of four and crap seats.  Gotta pass. I’m going to have to figure out ways to get these kids to games at a better price. I think I’ll break and give in soon enough, but I’m gonna try.

I think Idaho is ahead of Arizona in LDS population…. Don’t they have a BYU branch campus in Idaho?

Hmm, you are right, kinda.  Idaho is slightly above AZ, but Cali is #2:

Quote
State
Mormon Population
Utah 2,173,560
California 728,995
Idaho 473,894
Arizona 439,411
Texas 378,281
Washington 281,389
Nevada 181,975
Florida 168,527
Oregon 150,207
Colorado 148,708

Idaho is #2 in percentage tho, given their lower total population.

I thought that because Mesa (Phoenix suburb, 3rd largest city in AZ after Phoenix and Tucson) historically has a very large Mormon population.  Gilbert and Chandler are other large cities for LDS as well.  I live on the side of town by these suburbs, so my perception is skewed.

Yeah the norm seems to be spending about $1k to get a family of four to any outing, be it sports, concerts, amusement parks or whatever.  It's kind of sad how much it cost just to have those experiences with family and friends.

It's why I've started investing in season tickets. What's nice is being able to offer up experience to friends and family for very reasonable prices, which will be even easier next year when my Chiefs prices are cut in about half.

On that note, @jerryskids -you still have the opportunity to take advantage of two free tickets to the best basketball experience in the world on january  8 if you want them ;)

pretty interesting (if that's the right word  ) Mormon history in my area that drove a lot of them out West

Some I've heard believe the second coming of Christ will happen at that area near Gallatin, MO
