I see that point.  And my wife made that point last night too...About how the parents and relatives might want to know.  I get that. I also get the morbid curiosity humans have.  One reason why murder porn is so popular.  We can certainly find out where the guns were purchased and how. Whether this person was in therapy, what kind of therapy---rap sheet. Etc.  We can release all these things.  But for me, knowing what they were thinking or feeling, and their BS ramblings in a manifesto should be read by legal folks, head shrinkers, and that's it.

This broad should never have been allowed to purchase any gun, let alone multiple guns. One of the questions on the 4473 has to do with the purchaser ever having been adjudicated mentally defective. A yes answer disqualifies you from being allowed to purchase a firearm. 

Clearly, trannies are mentally defective, adjudicated or not and, as such, should not be allowed to purchase firearms.

What exactly is the demand for special treatment here? That the manifesto not be released? There have been calls for years that such documents not be released irrespective of the sexual identity or race of the shooter. And I think that the concern is legitimate that this might encourage more violence against the trans community and/or deflect attention to calls for additional gun control legislation.
