California oppressed my ancestors during the Gold Rush.   We were attacked and massacred.  The U.S. passed laws preventing my ancestors from even coming here.   Clearly, my ability to succeed in this country was negatively affected by all this oppression.  I demand my reparations, bitches!!!!

My grandparents were Holocaust survivors. The rest of my extended family back then were murdered. 
 

They were murdered by Nazis, not by the German people. Unless your grandparents were SS they had nothing to do with it. And even if your grandparents were involved. Their guilt doesn’t pass on to you.
